    I ordered mine this morning off of Wish! It's supposed to be here by Wednesday. I also ordered an Atlas retro style floor stand off of Reverb. Can't wait to see and hear it!

      @@Agradelous234 So much better than the Behringer mics I had been using. Well worth the price. Ordered through Walmart.com. Fifty bucks and change, shipped.

      @@brucemacmahon5603 that's a good price for sure .
      Like I said the only fault is the internal pop filter otherwise it's great and I apologise for not getting to a a vocal demo but i hope this weekend if I don't forget ! Lol

      @@Agradelous234 I did a side by side comparison. Didn't realize how tinny my other mics were. They're louder, but definitely not better.

    I own THIS mic, Both versions of the Shure 55, The Heil Fin, and the CAD A77. The monoprice mic is the biggest and heaviest of them all........A gooseneck won't support it well. How do I think the Monoprice mic sounds??? Very usable. At the price point, it's cool. Standing it up next to the rest of the listed mics, it looks like a toy....

    How has the microphone held up? How is the sound? What do you use the Microphone for?

    • @Agradelous234
      @Agradelous234  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's great I use for vocals but honestly I have not done much as of late .
      Only fault is it's very plosive sensitive but the mic is so sensitive that you can stand a good 2 ft back and get great levels eliminating the Pops or plosives , you also sing above or below the mic if you need to get close .
      It's the best dynamic mic I've had in hand . I am going to try recording guitar with it soon as I get a chance .
      The only song I used it on was this one doing back up vox you listen here if it helps but most likely it offer much but hey I did the lead guitars and some light acoustic in the intro lol ;)
      I do need to get a good demo but life has been putting on the brakes .
      So my apologies for not getting a good demo out .

      Sorry I missed the “held up “ part , you need a mic stand and a threaded adaptor . Some stands come with a adaptor there’s two sizes this mic uses the larger .
      Besides a adaptor the mic stand s boom thread itself might be factory made with the right size that you need to check before you buy .

    Hi I am looking to get one. Does it pick up a lot of background noise??

    • @Agradelous234
      @Agradelous234  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Loni Rowell hey Loni , I'm not using it in a band or live setting but I can say it picks up a lot less back round noise then my condensers . Sorry I can be of more help .

    You could of just screen capped the spectrum chart and used the phone's photo editor to crop it down. May of saved some time

      Yeah I sucked at videos then and still do now but I’m just a poor man king of cheap . 😂
      I ‘m forgetful and should of done a demo of some sort . I’m far behind in that area.😞

    Thanks for posting. If the mic looks good but sounds horrible.. then what? Literally no one has posted about testing this thing and there's literally nothing in reviews either> What's up with that? It must be a spanking new item on the market. I've bought cheap Radio Shack dynamic mics that ended up sounding pretty good, cut through the mix and are durable. I wonder if this one is just a pretty face!

      Doctor Spaceman hey Doc it sounds darn good ! Thought I made a comment about the sound as a follow up ? I just bought a second one about a month ago .
      It’s prone to plosives so you need distance or you can sing slightly off angle or incorporate a pop filter .
      Hope this helps .:)

      Let me add I’ve had one RS mic and was terrible more suited for conference speaking then singing . The Memphis Blue sound equals my condensers .

    Disappointed there wasn't an audio sample in this video. Sure it looks good but how does it sound?? Are there any videos with actual sound tests of this mic?

    • @Agradelous234
      @Agradelous234  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah your right my bad , my singing sucks lol
      But I can do some guitar audio if that helps .
      I'm impressed with it . Its pop filter is not so good but on the other hand it picks up extremely well from 24" away .
      I bought another one on sale lol
      My music is mostly instrumental do singing is rare .

    Just got one of these... Has better signal power than the Shure sm7b... Both of them are dynamic mics. The Shure sounds better with the cloudlifter... That means the blue Memphis will be that much stronger than it already is with same cloudlifter

      Jei Cynth congrats , I bought a second one lol yeah I have stand about 24 inches away it really pics up well it offers up a good sense of air so in a recording situation using it solo or harmonies over my condenser mic would work well .
      By the way if see the monoprice lollipop mic grab it it’s a beast .

      Spiral thanks the Mics sounds pretty good though sensitive to aspirated plosives . I was thinking the low level DB's might be an issue without a secondary preamp but the interface pres work well good signal strength from 3-4 ft from what have so far she's a keeper and a deal at the price .

      And it looks cool too! (Which is the most important feature :)
