    USA is better in these items: (1) Scholarships; (2) Income Tax; (3) Sales Tax.
    For health care, Canada is better for those who cannot afford it, unemployed or earning low income. In USA, health care is tied with employment. If you are unemployed, you have to pay for the entire insurance premium; plus the usual deductibles and copayments. Some insurance plans require you to have referral from primary care doctor before seeing a specialist. Then there is in-network vs. out-of-network doctors and health care facilities (different prices). You need authorization to visit Emergency Rooms; otherwise, you could risk paying the entire visit on your own. Some treatments, operations, and drugs require prior insurance approval.

      @@OfficialminharYT For Canadians working in one of 63 eligible professions under USMCA agreement, they can apply for 3-yr TN-1 visa and work as temporary worker in USA. Most of these professions require a Bachelor degree, but not all. Hotel managers require a diploma with a few years of experience. With US job offer letter at hand, TN-1 can be applied at US-Canada border or airport for about $60. It can be renewed as many times as required. After working 10 years in USA cumulatively, you qualify for US Social Security Benefit at retirement. If you get layoff, you just need to drive back to Canada and try again. As for US PR, if you were born in India, there is a long queue for employment based green cards. The queue is based on your country of birth (India), not based on citizenship (Canada).

      @@OfficialminharYT Eligible professions under USMCA agreement include registered nurse, engineer, scientific technician/technologist, architect, land surveyor, computer systems analyst, graphic/industrial/interior designer, accountant, economist, lawyer, management consultant, hotel manager, social worker, librarian, collge/university/seminary teacher. Missing in the list are IT, programmer, software developer, web developer, and data scientist/analyst. This is because the list came from 1989 US-Canada Free Trade Agreement (pre-NAFTA) and has not been changed since then.

      @@OfficialminharYT If you were born in Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Nepal, the green card queue is current for these countries. After Labor Cert approval, you can apply for employment based green card and there is no wait. Labor Cert is not easy. You have to advertise your job with salary, hoping that no one qualified would apply.

    If you are not interested in PR and have sufficient money, USA is a good option. In US, F-1 visa students are not allowed to work off-campus unless it is for CPT (Curricular Practical Training) and OPT (Optional Practical Training). For India, there is a long wait (lifetime according to WION) for employment based green cards in EB2 and EB3 categories.

    The waiver on the 20-hour-per-week limit on the number of hours international students are allowed to work off campus while class is in session will be extended to April 30, 2024. International students already in Canada, as well as applicants who have already submitted an application for a study permit as of December 7, 2023, will be able to work off campus more than 20 hours per week until that time. We continue to examine options for this policy in the future, such as expanding off-campus work

      mai deta tera answer. Usa ja sakte tu chahe to from canada . But tuje US me canadian manke jo benifits by birth canadian bande ko milte hai wo nahi milege bhale hi tu canadian citizen ho. us case me tera visa and har ek cheez ka case same hoga to anyone jo India se directly jaa raha US, bhale hi tu canadian PR ya citizenship pe us jara but tera birth country will always stay India and US me birth country hi dekhte wo instead of citizenship kaha ki hai canadian ya indian. Mai kuch bhi karke canada jane ka soch raha tha coz of security but fir mai socha ill be missing out on lot of good education and career opportunities agar canada gaya to. so now i am going to USA for masters and job, but agar business wagera karna hua to I can always easily go to canada from USA. REMEMBER- US me padhai karke canada jana bohot aasan kaam hai but canada se padhai karega to US me jhat barabar naukri nahi dega tuje koi. And i have a pretty good profile and goal for future so US me miljayega admission mostly. Agar tera bhi profile theek thaak se badhiya hahi to US ja instead of canada tera value bohot badega from US experience instead of canadian experience.

      USA is not good for employment based green cards for Indians, due to long wait. Canada needs to be cautious (study in the right province and in-demand course). Canadian Express Entry has changed in June 2023 to target specific in-demand occupations. For those who are not working in in-demand occupations, they need to look for a province with PNP streams in their occupations.

    Sir , I'm planning for doing MS in Mechanical engineering. What do you suggest? Because i guess your background is also from mechanical. New subscriber watching your content from past two days..

    • @smwk2017
      @smwk2017 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Be aware that mechanical engineer is not a prioritized STEM occupation announced by IRCC in 2023 so you won't get any advantages in federal level. Mechanical engineer is a prioritized occupation in some PNPs.
      In Ontario, there is Masters Graduate stream in PNP. You need to graduate with Master degree from an eligible public Ontario university. No job offer required to apply.
      In Canada, no Master degrees are CEAB (Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board) accredited. When you apply for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in the feature, the provincial governing body may conduct an assessment of your oversea Bachelor degree. Avoid Quebec due to its French language requirement for licensure.

      @@U.z4ir You should look into OINP Masters Graduate stream. Other provinces (such as BC) have similar PNP streams but they require employment to apply.
      Please keep in mind that immigration rules change all the time. I recommend OINP Masters Graduate stream based on current situation.
      Concerning employment, you need a good CGPA (greater than 3 out of 4) to get interviews. You are competing with locals who don't need to work part-time while studying.

    ADVICES to some students : Do not come to Canada!! It is FREE to study in France (l’éducation pour tous, this is. How we refer to it in France) and Germany anyway so why waste your money in universities in Canada or Australia!!! Save your money and invest it in your homeland to start a business or buy a land or build a house!!! Don’t do like some North Americans who spend thousands in student loans and spend 15 years to repay them!!! Canada is NOT a as attractive as it was anymore anyway due to lack of job opportunities, crappy healthcare, crappy transportation (compared to France where I come from), and impossible rents!!! Just save your money and may be start learning German and/or French so that you got alternatives!!!!
