I hope the people working hard to grow, harvest, and process the cocoa get paid as well as the fancy man who looks at chocolate at a close up angle. Without cocoa there is no chocolate
In the real world doubt so , and anyways as farmers they don’t make the same scale as money compared to let’s say big business who sell at a much much higher market price making much more profit.. Farmers do however deserve the right to earn what they deserve
Yep! Only reason I watched the video too because I have 3 packets of the Lindt Lindor balls and those are so good! The middle of them is the best part it just melts.
@@Thatguy60929 yeah that’s the reason why I looked this video up cause I was eating those chocolate Lindt balls the best chocolates I’ve had unless there’s better chocolate I haven’t had yet lol
I went to Italy 10 years ago on a tour and on the way to Switzerland for a day tour saw the Lindt factory. Our tour guide told us about the beautiful choccies from Switzerland and we should definitely buy some. When we realised the tour guide was referring to Lindt we didn’t bother for 2 reasons, it was 36 degrees C ( approx 98 deg F) and we can buy them at home in the supermarket.
I remember buying Lindt chocolate bar or truffles with discounts at Target during my college life. They were only $2.5 and the moment I had one bite, I immediately knew it is not a store quality. I didnt know much about fancy chocolates but I still knew Lindt was on the top. I miss those days. I really appreciated Lindt tastes.
I have experienced the highs and lows of chocolate making. Where I grew up, field trips to HersheyPark were a yearly treat. Then my dad's job took us to Europe, 5 minutes away from a Lady Godiva place. If someone gives me Hershey, I will thank them and eat it, but not with the joy of eating real chocolate. Dark chocolate Lindor is my favorite now.
People actually believe the lindt chocolate factory has 27 year old chocolaters in chefs uniforms gently placing toppings on hand crafted chocolates?😅😅😅😅😅
I love chocolate even Lindt I think it’s wanna the best chocolates in the world it’s so good that I would wanna make a chocolate factory and try chocolates and write down the tastes of it and make that chocolate and soon name it and try it when I have time
At 1:41 we see what's titled "Grounding the Cocoa Nibs". Does that mean EMOTIONALLY grounded, like they're affirming their feelings? I guess that's just the daily GRIND of working in chocolate.
Did I see a different version if this video to everyone else? The scenes cut from one process to another, then showing a finished product, then back to a production shot, then someone spreading chocolate, then another finished product, then back to roasting beans… wth?🤷🏼♀️
Totally agree. The images were almost totally unrelated to the process. I think most people just wanted to look at chocolate not the actualy method of making it haha. Thought i was going nuts until i saw your comment.
The village is selling the cocoa to such a large company yet their village still looks poor I have a feeling these farmers aren’t getting paid the money they deserve.
Never have I seen those giant bunnies. Must be made for the CEO’s friends only. lol serious note, thanks to the workers starting from the bottom up making them look great. People buying small pleasures in life forget the work involved to get them on a shelf.
They make it look like a person places every bean in just the right spot, and like a human actually sprinkles rhe nuts on the chocolate...like there are almost no machines involved 😆
"Getting an inside look at the Lindt factory feels like stepping into a chocolate wonderland! 🍫🏭 Ever imagine diving into a pool of that smooth, melted chocolate? Or is that just me?"
The red ribbons are for milk chocolate, dark brown ribbon is for dark chocolate and white ribbons on the bunnies are for white chocolate. They sell them in Australia every Easter. They also do mini rabbits that come with carrot shaped chocolates in the same box.
Come on, we know it's just a normal factory that makes very nice chocolate. We know the guys in the Lindt chef hat and apron looking at the chocolate are just for show. 😂...It's nice to imagine the every chocolate from a company that's popular around the world is hand crafted by a master chef, but we know that it's not true. I hope the people working hard to grow, harvest, and process the cocoa get paid as well as the fancy man who looks at chocolate at a close up angle. Without cocoa there is no chocolate
And the factory workers, and the hazelnut farmers, and hell, the sugar cane farmers too

They do not. Look at Tony's chocolonely for ending chocolate modern day slavery
You know they don't

I wish I could like your comment 10 times. Unfortunately I can only like it once and I agree, this is the best chocolate ever and in the world
Ferroro Roche better
How well compensated are the people who harvest cocoa?
Very less payment
Not well at all
They should unionize lol
Thank you for including ALL of the steps. Good to know and great to share!
So that’s how heavenly chocolate is made.
I'd like to walk in that factory and be like "I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to taste that before it goes anywhere! I'm the chocolate police!"
That's ah ,that sir you can cannot go ah .....
Wtf
yea no. most is protected for virusses or bacteria and u wont even come close

Just wondering how much of Lindt margin goes back to the farmer in Africa for him to raise his family
Same
This is the definitive video to watch while eating chocolate. 🤤
You're my spirit animal! Literally turned to it as I took my first bite of one from a Christmas assortment! 😂
WHY ARE WE HUMANS ALL THE SAME? xDxDxD

Cadbury and Hershey are not chocolate

i legit hate hershey's "chocolate" it tastes disgusting imo
u should taste; Tony’s. same high end taste and 100% slavefree.
@@michaelmich00 I'm guessing you're referring to the Black people in Africa slaving other Blacks to work for them
im Pretty sure Lindt chocolates are mass produced and not hand made LOL
That one worker just snapped the rabbit's head off and smiled
Dark chocolate truffles that they make are the best!!! ❤❤❤❤
I'm impressed by how well the machines are maintained.
Please, save the earth.🌎
It's the only planet with chocolate.🗿

The hard work in the harvesting.
There's a Lindt & Sprungli© factory in NH. They make a lot of chocolate balls there, and I always wanted them to try and make "Chocolate Maple Syrup Bacon Balls!". I've made some strange creations by accident. Like having Franch toast and bacon for breakfast while going to add more maple syrup to my toast, and accidentally grabbing the Hershey's chocolate syrup. For me, it was an unexpected but great-tasting flavor profile. So New England is known for maple syrup and our love for bacon. Why not make a Lindt© "Chocolate Maple Syrup Bacon Ball!"
Hershey is not chocolate, same as Catbury.
@@josefmengele5340 I know, so what!
That was not the point of my statement.
@@RainArchiver If you connect Hershey and chocolate, you are already wrong.

Eating a peppermint lindor while watching this, yum.
Watching this because Lindt's Dark Chocolate is my latest obsession. Currently on 85%, my goal is to slowly move up to the 99% 😈

This elegant truly beautifully made chocolate....end their ingredient list with.....artifical flavour
I want to work in this factory to eat free every day 😂😂
At 1:41 we see what's titled "Grounding the Cocoa Nibs". Does that mean EMOTIONALLY grounded, like they're affirming their feelings?

For the price, I really hope a more than fair amount goes to the harvesters of the cocoa.
Too yummy

They should be sued for false advertising. This is not even mile close to reality.
Why there aren't palm oil plantations? This video is lying.
The giant bunny 😮
9:13 Where can I get my hands on a GIANT lindt bunny in Australia? I've never seen a giant version only the small ones.
Welp gotta go buy some now

Some Chocolate makers make their bars a bit too sweet IMO.
How about we pay the people who actually harvest the chocolate a fair wage?
And they pay to the african farmers 1 dollar per week
Lindt 99% chocolate is a cheat, only 50g in the 100g size wrapper, yet the 95% slab is still 100g.
Is this cap??
there is something what other companies doesn´t know even they make everything right and legal.
Yum 😋
