A big mystery is the source and natural reservoir of the virus used in making most of the vaccine in the 20th century It was not Cowpox, as show by genetic analysis. It was some unknown species of Orthopoxvirus, which had jumped into humans, and maybe into some live stock, and was harvested for vaccine production. It turned out to better for vaccines than the cowpox strains that were being used and became the dominant strain use in production. It was first discovered to likely not be cowpox in 1939, and this was definitively established by genetic analysis later. The species was given the name Vaccinia. Its natural reservoir has never been identified, and it has not been found in the wild. It may even be extinct except in human production facilities and laboratories. Buffalopox virus seems to be its closest relative. The false narrative of cowpox still being the main vaccine source was still being taught , including by the film, for decades after science knew better.
Doubt it, 100% of smallpox outbreaks only happened with-in the vaxxed communities… use logic for a second. Smallpox was practiced in Asian back in in the year 500, they used a similar method, rubbing crusted scabbed skin onto peoples arms.. in the video they illustrate this, you would literally have to rub crust onto someone’s skin thoroughly to infect them. The only way to cause an outbreak or pandemic would be through the vaccine, how? They give you the live smallpox virus via the vaccines that’s how. First case of influenza was back in the year 1357, none of this is new
@@mrJules100 the fool is talking about variolation which is a prototype method for immunization used centuries ago and later replaced by the more effective vaccine method.
Small pox was eradicated in 1979, if you were born after 1972 you likely didn’t receive it. They stopped vaccinating in 1972 because transmission was low.
Oh-you didn’t happen to stumble upon this while trying to dig further into that disturbing news that came out yesterday about that PA Merck lab? (😏I did…)
I was born in 1957, and have wondered why I was vaccinated agaisnt Smallpox, since I don't have the Smallpox scar. Now I wonder if I received this form. Interesting! Jeff
You did not receive this vaccination. By the time you were vaccinated, Jonas Salk's subcutaneous vaccine was being replaced by Albert Sabin's more effective oral vaccine. You would have probably had this by either a dropper (2 drops in the mouth) or by the more common sugar cube soaked with the same two drops.
It was still routinely given in the 1950’s. Anyone born after 1972 wasn’t offered the vaccine because transmission was low, they would only get it if they were at high risk for contracting smallpox or high risk of severe illness if infected. Those who traveled internationally were considered high risk for exposure and were offered a vaccine after that time. I never received the vaccine since it was eradicated before I was born. So I don’t have a scar. Maybe not everyone got a scar since my mom had the vaccine and she doesn’t have a scar.
Freaky how none of the scientists or doctors are using gloves.
Smallpox vaccine
Yeah times have really changed since then or even previous.

Antivaxxers would rather have smallpox

Thankyou for the video and explanation.
You are welcome!
Were the cows “reused” or were they sent to slaughter following one infection / collection?
That was a rudimentary method.
Witchery!
I glad their wasn't virus in 2020 cause then that be crazy.
Heeeeeeeeelll naaaaaaaaa°°!!!!!!!!! I was not vaccined with this?! Or was I? Hell nooo! 2018! Please! Someone tell me no
If you were born after 1985, then you were not vaccinated with this. But cow pox still exists and you can still get the "vaccine" if you work in dairy

Funny you mentioned it, I think it might be time for another dose lol.

So glad small pox is a thing of the past, that virus was gross. The way they made the vaccine is gross too.

@kzam717 Actually, the stopped vaccinating because it went extinct. Vaccines rock!
Actually no they still give the vaccine to newborns
I think I have cowpox!!!!
@spazzymagey ummmm we got rid of smallpox in the 70s.
Yummy .. Cowpox smoothie! 😂
