I was a bit hesitant to buy it because of the hype - my experience with hyped product is not good [got myself x100v, later sold it in a loss] But finally I purchased it. I just want to document everyday life, when I'm out public this camera help me reduce my anxiety. Bc it doesnt look like a camera more of toy. I live in Berlin too and I love your videos. You inspire me to out and shoot
Definitely. It’s so easy to make a product seem hype these days. And I can see how the x100 can be very tempting! But I think the pocket 3 is rightful of the hype for people who want to easily film more. Do you love yours so far? Hope you enjoy the journey of documenting more! Especially when Berlin see the sun again lol. Thanks for watching, appreciate your comment.
@@MichaelNgvyen I am loving my pocket 3 so far. It didn’t replace my full frame setup. But I am able to film in public now. I am a bit shy to hold a camera in front of my face and walk around. Now I can document those moments easily. also I use it for basic gimble shots as I don’t have a gimble. But only problem is matching the color with my sony camera. Which i am hoping to learn it from you - now that you have both 🐣
Hey Zeno! Thank you so much for the comment. Definitely enjoying this style lately. Blending everyday life along side the photography/video tech related stuff. Appreciate the subbed! You have a super cool name by the way. Never known a Zeno before till now! Cheers!
Love Berlin. Loved this video. Can I please ask a technical question? I have just picked up the Sony a7iv. Which focus area do you use mostly when Vlogging? Many thanks. Ross
Hey Ross! Thanks for the comment. When I’m talking to the cam, I use wide or zone with face/eye detect. Wide for when I am talking to the camera. And zone for a more creative situations. For example in the opening shot. I have it set to the lower zone to have the suitcases in focus and us in the background blurred. But as we got closer the face detect kicks in and grabs focus on our faces. Hope that makes sense and helps you. Appreciate your time! Cheers
@@MichaelNgvyen Thank you for the reply 😃. I know it’s best to use different focus areas for different situations. However, would you say wide is the most like a ‘point and shoot’? I’m just starting out and want ti start simple, the focus areas are really confusing 😌. Thank you again for your advice. Ross
@RossCorbett yes definitely. Definitely just use wide if you want simple. The AF of the A7iv is pretty smart at knowing what should be in focus! Enjoy your new camera and have fun.
I pulled the trigger on the OSMO pocket 3 just last month. Like it so far. At the pizza place you kept saying the phone was shaking badly, it did not show up in your video, did you do post processing or did the phone smooth it out for you? I look forward to your everyday life vids!
Hey Rosh! Good to know you like your pocket 3 so far! Im excited to see all the way it will make film everyday life easier and more fun. Have you posted your stuff anywhere? The phone’s stabilization actually smoothed it out! I was surprised! Appreciate your time! Thanks for watching. See you around!
Hey Jon! I am pretty excited about it. I have high hopes since the camera is basically the same as my mini 3 pro so at least I know the image quality is good. Hope all is good with you!
Yep! I just got one too. I feel because it's so unobtrusive it's a lot easier for run & gun quick videos. People shy away when you bring out the "rig". You'll want to get some ND/Mist filters...
Yes! I agree with everything you said. Are you loving your Pocket 3 so far? I did pick up some nd’s and a mist. Grabbed the ones from KF. It was the fastest shipping before my trip. Which ones did you get? Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
@@MichaelNgvyen it’s been great to have a small high quality video device. I just got the K&F too. Colors are really nice even if you don’t shoot D-Log. Little tweaks and ready to go. I do wish it was more rugged - weather sealed & SD card really should have been covered. Lastly, vertical videos are quirky (you need to hold it horizontally) or it’s only 2.7k. Fix those things and its perfect 🤩
So a bit of a clickbait title like your older more focused vids but this video does not match your title. Also your audio levels for music when doing your V.O are way too high. Sorry man but had to say it. Keep making videos.
I was going for a concise catchy title. I do notice TH-cam content style changing and my plan/strategy is to film more everyday style content plus I shared my new camera purchase. Wanted a short title to hit those three things, and I guess it came off as clickbait to you and I can respect your opinion. To be honest you’re damned if you do, and you’re damned if you don’t with titles. But yeah. Thanks for letting me know about sound levels. Appreciate you watching the video anyways. Cheers

I watched a couple of your vids. I this one like the M11 one has a good vibe. Keep up the good work and I hope the DJI serves you well. Subbed.
