Bob, just had to tell you.. This particular vid has helped my mother (91 yrs) feel a lot better and less worried about me. phew! Thank-you. It is so hard to live the way I want when most everyone else thinks I'm nuts and will surely fail royally and become destitute, stranded, starving, cold, alone and God knows what else they can dream up to upset themselves and attempt to destroy my plans. Oh yes. I have lived in more difficult circumstances (15 or 20 years ago)... literally in a forest wilderness. No heat or water in a modern sense. Shelter was a very old travel trailer wrapped in bubble wrap for the winter. I made radient heat with stones over candles and oil lamps. I hauled jugs of water on a tobbagan traipsing thru the woods on snow shoes. I had the best time of my life even at 18 below. Gettin' too old for that much primitive now. Thoroughly enjoyed this young lady Well spoken, easy smile. So much fun to "meet the Nomads". What a delightful peek into the type of folks that embrace this lifestyle I hope to join in the adventure in late Sept.Thank you to all who share their home and lives,
A very interesting lady that loves her life and traveling. She speaks so clearly and knows what she is talking about. Hope to meet her someday if she is still a Nomad. Thanks Bob.
This is a rig i could get into. Its large enough for one but the simplicity is what gets me....its all there, kitchen, bath, sleeping and living area. Great job showing this
From every camper I've seen this is my favorite. I agree with cooking outside whenever possible if only just to keep the humidity out. I would rather have this than a large RV...
Bob, Yours are the first videos I look for every day when I look for R V living. You are the best interviewer. You have a great gift. People really look forward to your videos. Hurry up and do another one. Can't wait to see them. Thanks
BIG JOE 245 completely agree...Bob's style is so welcoming and accepting. He finds the gold nuggets yet doesn't hide possible diminishing point BUT without seeming judgmental. That's a great gift. Thanks for sharing it.
I agree as well. About a 100%, every person that Bob has interviewed, they're all happy and don't want to go back to their old lifestyle. These people are living with less in small spaces and the end results, THEY ARE HAPPY. So I have concluded it is something wrong in the way we are living in society. I'm not a Nomad yet but I hope to be one in the near future.
I can't help but wonder how many people decide this is not for them and their reasons why. (I'm trying to remain objective but that's not working very well for me. :) Cheers!

I love this little Tab trailer better than a TearDrop camper because the kitchen is inside therefore you can cook when it's cold and raining. It's tall enough to stand up in , also have a wet bath. Thank's for sharing.
I LOVE and adore that trailer!!! I could definitely go with that. I'm not looking at full-time but more out in it than not. I'm in Australia so probably much more expensive here 😔 love the shower and kitchen set up...plus that great screen sliding door. ....it's all so cute 😊⭐

A year later, after the post below, I am finally going to pick up my new T@B trailer tomorrow with my 2015 Ford Escape Eco boost 2.0 with tow package. Thank you for showing me that dreams do come true. I have a parrot who will be traveling with me when I hit the road. Thanks for these videos Bob.
Do have a lovely life on the road, I'm jealous. I have cancer and my dream of doing this is dashed. Found out yesterday that I'm in renal failure as well. So double dashed. So I'm living my dreams thru all of you. God bless and post.
Love this! I appreciate your openness and willingness to share your experience. You've given me some ideas I never even considered. Peace to you, light to you, love to you. I may just go get me a TAB. I have animals, too, so it's wonderful to hear that you have a couple pups! Take good care, my friend!
she's right about the friends and apartment living. i lived in the same apartment in D.C. for 17 years. i NEVER saw neighbors let alone social with them. literally had a couple neighbors i said hi to but that was it. it always amazed me.
Before your time we had monster tvs.. Huge things that took up a big space... Young folks and us portfolio are divided by language due to how much life has changed in 50, 40, 30, even 20 years... It's hilarious that our lives were so different back in the day!
I think I will start saving now. As I ponder it, I feel like I want this lifestyle for myself. I have a v6 ford ranger that I own. And an apartment that is cheap enough to allow me to put some away. I work at a convenience store. But when I work 2 jobs I actually do pretty good so this would be doable. I have come to realize that I don't need much in this world. But I am willing to pay good money for what I have. 15,000 thou isn't cheap, but isn't out of the relm of possibility. I would want a duel sport moterbike that could go with me and I already own most of the guitar equipment I need. So now its just about learning how to live off grid. What I need and where I want to go. Hope my cats are as into the idea as I am. Guess we'll see. Anyway, very inspiring vid. Thanx for doing it.
Xendava cats, most cats anyway seem to acclimate better if you introduce them slowly. The first time in your trailer, give them their favorite treat. This will create a positive association. Start leash training them now. Don't stop pursuing your rv dream Xendava!
Wow! I am extremely impressed with this T@B trailer. One of the best I have ever seen. Well made and has everything you need! Sharon has really got it together!
stringbender57 actually I have a 2016 TAB Outback version and these are really not that well made. There is no storage in this, those cabinets above the sink are so small you can't actually put anything in them and same with the back ones. I can tell they didn't pre-drill any holes so there is quite a few cracks in the wood. I would think being made by the Amish they would know this. I really don't think they were made by Amish craftsmen. I don't recommend this camper. It also cost more than most other small trailers.
I've recently been viewing this channel and Carolyn's RV life channel and I just find these stories so fascinating. I wish I could do what Sharon, Carolyn and other women are doing. I love Sharon's trailer and of course her jeep. Those two together are pretty neat!
oh my!!! i love this one!! especially the screen, air conditioner (that is essential for my comfort) and the light!!! I absolutely love this one!! Thanks for showing us!!
I love that little trailer! It looks SO comfortable! I don't know, but I'm really getting an urge to hit the road with my little beagle! Nice knowing that there are so many nice RV-ers out there! Thanks for another wonderful video!
CheapRVliving Very encouraging words! I live near Canada and weather is totally crazy here right now, as it usually is every winter! I hope to have the nerve to get out there during next fall and try finding a warmer place to stay and do a little landscape painting. After watching some of your videos showing how some women are doing so well in smaller travel vehicles, I'd first want to look around for something much smaller than my large Class C Winnebago. Thank you SO much for all those wonderful videos and for your encouraging words!
Me too! Very strong women. I love hearing everyone's story. So many varied backgrounds. I really love these little T@B trailers. I am seriously looking at the model with the outside kitchen. I camp out of my Prius and actually prefer cooking outdoors. They make a little kitchen tent that goes over the cooking area so you can get out of the weather and still not make the trailer stink of food. Nothing like catching fresh fish and cooking it within minutes of catching it.... except the smell inside any vehicle. So yeah I like to cook outside.
I first saw here and her tab a while ago. I love her sleeping set up. It is perfect for one person. It really sold me on the trailer. Thanks for sharing it was fun to see it again.
Wow, love it. You seems to be happy with your choice, I love the teardrop, but my husband would not fit in the bathroom. Thanks for sharing your story, we are going to look it up to get something similar but a big gigger. Love it.
Bob you are amazing - compassionate and caring - Dee is my favourite person - I am FT in an rv in Australia with my 3 dogs Ty ty so much for your channel Robyn
I never knew the anonymity of modern neighborhoods until the 80s. Not knowing your neighbors was unheard of. Living on Air Force bases meant COMMUNITY. Housing built in the 40s or 50s was more open. Part of the appeal of RVs is community. Getting out of the rig is also key to our happiness. Rant over. Thanks Bob.
Very cool! I love how neat and tidy she keeps her little home. Seems like many RV dwellers keep them really messy. Nice to see this pretty and organized trailer.
Thanks, Dale! A lot of that is personality. I think the personality that can break all the rules may also be more likely to like clutter. But that's just speculation on my part.
Smart lady! What a great combination! A well built light weight trailer and a jeep to go places you could not otherwise go. Makes me rethink wanting a van.
I owned the clam shell model T@B. I used it for 2 weeks and sold it. It wasn't right for me. Some people absolutely love theirs. It is truly a top quality product! I LOVE the Aldi radiant heating system. The woodwork was beautiful. No doubt this is the right tool for this lady. I'm 5'11" tall. I could not stand up fully nor lay down without my heals and head touching the walls unless I slept at an angle. The CS model has an outdoor kitchen. The wind kept blowing out my stove. 2 Cubic feet of refrigerator/freeze space is not enough for more than a day. I constantly ran out of fresh water and overflowed the grey water onto the shower floor. If you are boon docking, one 12 volt battery is not enough. Where do you keep your 4 or 5 jerry cans of water, clothes, cleaning supplies, toiletries, food, dishes, cookware, utensils, Ice chest, first aid kit, tools, sewer hose, blue boy sewer tank, power cord, extra propane tank, coffee maker, and generator? Then when time to move find room for the awning, ground mat, table, solar panel, and lawn chairs. The mirror in the bathroom, with my head against the ceiling was mounted below my chin with my head against the wall that it is mounted on. I couldn't back up without bending my knees, or sitting back on the toilet. The walls by the toilet were barely wider than my shoulders making the toilet mostly unusable. Was not a fit for me... Not even close! for 2K more for a year newer model I bought a 23' travel trailer.
so very interesting and glad I have found your site. it s great to see all these woman living independently... I would never think to do this, now that I have watched these videos, I ask my self what am i afraid of... it would be in my retirement days I would do this, but it looks like such a great adventure.. Thank you all for sharing your life. V
The nomads I interview continue to inspire me as well. It is a super community we have and there is little to be afraid of that common sense can't take care of. Thanks for watching Virginia.
I don't remember seeing this before. This, I believe, is the first T@b I've seen with a front window. I like the bed setup, too. By the way, I spent much of my life in or near Amish country in Ohio. People here have an almost religious belief in the quality of Amish construction. That might help with my fears about RV quality.
I like it. Very comfortable. You don't have to move everything if you want to sleep. And you have a real bathroom and a real kitchen. Simple, comfortable and clean.
I like the fact that you don't require a weight distribution to pull this trailer with the right tow vehicle . This trailer has a lotta bang for the buck!
I love this tab teardrop! I didn't know the Amish made campers, just furniture that I know of. Everything they make they make is high-quality! Great video I highly enjoyed it!
This is one of my most favorite videos, ty for putting it back up. Do you think Sharon would be willing to do a follow up? It's been almost a year now I think, or maybe a phone interview?
Thanks for showing such a classy lady enjoying the outdoors. Thanks for staging such a clean and organized setup. Everything is extremely minimalized, yet very functional. She makes it sound easy.
I keep watching this ...I think it’s the best teardrop trailer vid I have seen . This lady is fabulous . And if I had this trailer , I would have this set up with the bed and the sitting arrangement this way . I love the visa too ...what a lovely life . We have a holiday caravan here in the uk and I spend most of the summer in it . I am sad when we winter it . Good luck you lovely lady x❤️
HI Sharon! So nice to meet you on TH-cam. I think you are my Superhero. I took a lot of notes from this video thanks to your information and willingness to open up to us strangers. Your Tab is delightful, you are too...ever think of doing your own series of TH-cams "On the road with Sharon ". I'm in bed with the flu Bob and have been watching all Bob all the time since I fumbled onto your videos. These are so much fun..really I mean it, the fever passed :-) .
Great interview as usual Bob! Thank you for interviewing Sharon. I really like her Spirit! I love her whole set up. The Tab is beautiful. I have never seen one. Tour was great.
What a lovely lady. I hope all is well with her. I send her love and best wishes. Beautiful, informative interview with a very likable interviewer. Thank you!!!!!
I've been waiting on this one to be reposted. I bought a Ford Escape just so I could get this model. I was able to stand in one at an RV show earlier this year, & it's perfect for me. I love it. Thanks!
I hope you got the 2.0 EcoBoost engine in your Escape. The 1.5 will only tow 2000 pounds whereas the 2.0 can tow 3500 pounds. My new Escape 2.0 Titanium is being built starting on September 24th. I got the tow package so now I'm looking for a camper. I'm kind of leaning towards a fiberglass egg camper.
Sharon should be a spokesperson for Jeep and for the Tab trailers. She is completely sold on them. Very interesting Nomad. Thanks Bob for this interview and tour.
Definitely worth watching more than once! Real people who aren’t scripted and who are genuinely happier with their new found freedom!
EVERYONE let’s give BOB WELLS a BIG SHOUT OUT for posting this excellent video.
This is definitely the way to go!👌 It's nice to be able to drive around without your whole house sometimes!
Forget a big, fancy RV. This is absolutely perfect! Just enough space to get all the essentials inside. I am so in love with this setup.

Love it.
What a great combo! I just learned about TAB trailers the other night and fell in love. Thank you for posting this!
She is the one who convinced me this is what I want as a trailer. Thanks for the video!!!!!
I already own my 4 door wrangler just missing the trailer ! I’m 4’8 this would be perfect 😩♥️
Short girls rock 👊🏽
Bob you are amazing - compassionate and caring - Dee is my favourite person - I am FT in an rv in Australia with my 3 dogs
Ty ty so much for your channel
Robyn
Wish she had a blog or channel I’d love to follow her journey!
Good point. I'm an artist and my creative space can get pretty chaotic. ~ I really enjoy your videos!
Wow! Sharon is cool. Just the type of friend you'd love to meet in your travels. And her trailer is so cute.
Hadn't seen this vid before. What a great lil trailer, I love the screen door and the screens and shades for the windows.
I love it!!
I remember being very impressed with this little camper the first time you posted this video. Thanks for the repost. 👍
Sam Buckalew me too!
Smart lady! What a great combination! A well built light weight trailer and a jeep to go places you could not otherwise go. Makes me rethink wanting a van.
Lovely trailer and an even lovelier lady! Best of health to you, Sharon!

The nomads I interview continue to inspire me as well. It is a super community we have and there is little to be afraid of that common sense can't take care of. Thanks for watching Virginia.
What a lovely interviewee! Nice way to spend 15-minutes: pleasant and informative. Thanks.
This is the first @CheapRVLiving video I ever watched, and I still watch it frequently and share it with my single shorter friends.
Bob we cant get enough of your videos. Ive been recommending your channel on other youtube videos as well
Wonderful video, camper, and a unique lady. You go girl!
What a very sweet and happy lady!!! Great video!!!
Hello Sharon. What a wonderful little self-sufficient home you have. Thx to you & Bob for sharing with us.
What a smart and classy lady! Good interview as usual, Bob!
What a delightful woman and great interviewer.
That was so fun to watch. Owning a small RV like hers is my dream. I am going to look the TAB up on line. Maybe I’ll meet up with her traveling. :)
Perfect
I love this tab teardrop! I didn't know the Amish made campers, just furniture that I know of. Everything they make they make is high-quality! Great video I highly enjoyed it!
I like that your kitchen is inside so no matter the weather you can easily cook. Love your bathroom inside.
Bob your definitely on my list of "must watch" videos. If you keep them coming I will keep watching!
What an amazing lady, with a terrific story and attitude to life. She's an inspiration. I love the T@b.
What a nice place to live with two little dogs. Can't imagine with out a dog...thanks first sharing.
❤❤❤❤love this found it on Pintrest and then immediately found her on Cheap RV Living!!! Thanks I am looking to purchase a tear drop!!!!
Love her & her t@b, she's living the dream. 💗👍
I love it. Thanks!
Adrienne Rogers
have you traveled/camping yet?
I hope you got the 2.0 EcoBoost engine in your Escape. The 1.5 will only tow 2000 pounds whereas the 2.0 can tow 3500 pounds. My new Escape 2.0 Titanium is being built starting on September 24th. I got the tow package so now I'm looking for a camper. I'm kind of leaning towards a fiberglass egg camper.
You doing it yet?
Excellent video, and thanks to Bob, and Sharon for sharing your Nomad lifestyle!🥰
Nice set, and Awesome Lady! I hope her travels are blessed................
Love her rig and her vibrant personality! Thanks, Sharon and Bob!
fun to watch again
I love hearing these stories!! Your awesome!! I'm on my way to off road living. Getting information. Thanks so much.
