*I like the old style Echo Dot because it's small also **Newest.Technology**, gives out decent sound and doesn't take up a lot of shelf space if you want to put it on beam in the workshop or shed.*
If I try a voice command on Google Home like "Press Play on Panasonic" or "Press Pause on Panasonic", I almost always get the message "That mode isn't available". This happens even though the remote buttons work in the Broadlink app on the device called Panasonic, and the same command does work occasionally. Is this because the Broadlink servers are running out of capacity?
How do I move buttons or create a sub menu of buttons?
Keep getting app is searching for device ap named broadlink. Cannot even add the device.
If my current sony KD-49X7000D remote is spoiled and I am planning to get connect all remote appliances to wifi w the IR blaster, would I be able to still get the sony tv without remote now to pair up and use with my mobile phone?

@Broadlink I have android 11 on a Samsung a12 with 2.4ghz WIFI router and the RM4 Pro. I have tried every suggestion I can find to connect it to my WIFI with no joy. How do I fix this Broadlink or do I send it back to Amazon? I have 3 days left to do so.

I'm just wondering if the broadlink can stitch multiple devices into a single remote view like the harmony hub could within an activity. As an example, I'm looking for a way to have a remote view that maps directional buttons to the Xbox and volume buttons to the Denon amp. Do you know if this can be achieved?
This can be achieved. Whether they will allocate employee time to do it is the real question
Want to buy one. However can't find the Broadlink app thru Google Play store on my Fire Tablet. Any Ideas?

i've got a new router and the SSID got changed. now i try to re-configure my rm pro+ but i can not connect it at all no matter how many times i try to reset it. is there any way to connect it without changing the SSID to the old one? since ALL my other devices in my home can change to the new SSID without any problem (game console, labtop, my mom,dad, sister phones and so on like 20-30 devices i dont want to change the ssid and reconfigured another 20-30 devices again!)
I'm in the exact same situation. I got a new router and the RM Pro just won't connect no matter how many times I try, it's a pain. If you figure it out let me know please.

the issue probably is your new router is both 2.4 and 5ghz bands, you need to temporarily disable the 5ghz band while setting up the device
No option for unlock?
Won't mtach with my LG CX 65 TV and when I try to match buttons, they won't work either :(
Is there any problem with the IOS app when I try to search for a new Universal Remote?
I cannot get by the initial "Skip" "without sensor cable". It eventually times out "device error control timeout -4000". Never gets to the "Done" screen. Any ideas before I send it back?

All ready using BroadLink to control tv with Alexa, if I get a new tv do I have to add new remote.
The range of control is 8 meters, if you have a new TV in another room, you may need one more remote :)
My plug has been working fine over the past year,now it doesn't even wanna connect to the wifi what could be the problem
Apart from Alexa and Google Home, would it be compatible with Xiaomi Home app? Does anyone knows?

@@aphaseelec hi Ralph. This turned out to be my bad. I was putting in my account password not the device password. I was also not using the correct place to link it up. But once I got those two things right, it set up quick. It is going to work for me but took all day to get it done. Thanks for your reply friend.
