- In the new Lore, Eris Morn compares herself to the Hive pantheon and the connection she still shares. The Dreadnaught returns in Heresy and Eris Morn may have a big part to play as the Guardian encounters a new eldritch force. Let’s take a look at this new lore.

Remember the body of Oryx is not dead, but apparently mutating while remaining empty of a being.
Also until recently I would say at this point Oryx is lower on our worry list we have killed gods since then. However now its rather clear that in the Books Of Sorrow when Oryx made that Ogre to talk to the deep, it was not the Witness he spoke with that he learned the power to take from. The way it spoke and acted was nothing like the Witness but it very much sounds like the Winnower.

the thumbprint on the helmet of the eris themed armor is to simbolize how eris keeps fkng stuff up by touching stuff

Hopefully we find out about oryx’s worm in heresy and get somewhat of an explanation why his body is active.
The hive ritual involved a ghost to replace his worm and bits of his memory which means this hive in someway have fragments of oryx’s memory enough to rebuild his mind which this could be an interesting plot in heresy

I love these lore master pieces that are soo lovingly crafted for our viewing...
But all I can see is Guardian "DookieBootyFartWater" running about in these clips 🤣
If we keep the Dreadnaught after the events of the episode I kinda hope that with the skin being shed on it we transform it into something a bit more fitting of the coalition. I like the Hive aesthetic but not for the what would become our flagship. Especially when meeting new races that may have been affected by the Hive before.
So, in some fashion Oryx is returning, interesting!!

The new armor reminds me of the dialogue that eris says “like fingertips on the edge of my mind”. The armor has fingerprints.

I know almost everybody doesnt like recicled content, but i wish we get the rest of king's fall weapons on heresy
Remember why oryx banished nokris and disinherited him. BC necromancy was heresy according to the sword logic. With the witness gone no more voice in the darkness maybe the hive stoop to such improprieties and resurrect oryx maybe this Eldrich horror is an undying oryx. Much like what the fenatic is. 👀
I would not be surprised if the full Pantheon returns and Savathun has tricked us yet again for her siblings. That would be a big threat and a worthy raid to end that once and for all

That's a name I wanted to be mentioned with this episode... I say wait for it. It's gonna happen. If she's not the Eldritch, she'll play a major role nevertheless.
There would to be an explanation as to why Taox was an echo from the witness cause she never got caught
@@everythingsalright1121 very true, but as far as we know she wasn’t connected to the darkness, just a traitor to the Krill of the Osmium Court i.e Sathona, Aurash, Xi Ro and their father. We know Krill live short lives, so if she was influenced by the darkness in anyway, it’d have to be around the time she disappeared for the second time, or, we can surmise that she died and has returned as an echo that way, through the natural death of a Krill’s lifecycle.
@@devinbalog123 I think they'll have some explanation. Maybe due to betraying the Osmium court the Traveler gifted her with long life, or she had some kind of augmentation from the other species she met after leaving Fundament

Taox hasn't been mentioned yet. Also, I want Finch to get his Hive Knight back but we haven't heard from the Swarm. This episode will hopefully reveal a lot. Might be the best one out of the 3.

well resurrection is 'Heresy' to the hive so ye makes sense that oryx is coming back and it being a heretic act in the eyes of the hive
We’ve never gotten to see his little baby worms grow into giant hive worms gods maybe it happens when a hive of mega power dies or gets consumed from not following there nature the hive worm makes the corpse continually grow to hive worm god size while it drains all the remaining power then emerges

Calling it now, the Erdrich force will infect oryx’s body and take it over for awhile. We deal a heavy blow weakening it’s hold on the body allowing oryx to regain control of his body, that’s how he will return

what did I tell you!!!! huh!! Didn't i rant several times a while back about this. Oryx is coming back!!! Xivu is gonna use the pale hearts power to combine light and dark and prismatic resurrect oryx like they were gonna do with our ghost, which is why they changed that scene to be cayde6 giving his life to bring your ghost back instead... Yup. We are getting an ultra oryx. He is literally in his cocoon like I said. whether or not he is the winnower who knows, but I think so... But his carcass still growing with no mind... hahaha, thats a cocoon... lol
