Hey Mike, I just wanted to say that your photography is absolutely stunning! The way you capture light and detail is truly inspiring. Keep up the amazing work!
Hi Mike, only been following your channel for a couple on months; was actually 'introduced' to yourself by Thomas Heaton's video of the Andalucía project! Really love your work and your style of films. You really have inspired me to try something different in terms of photography, away from my landscape photography passion. Now I really look forwards to seeing another of your films put up on TH-cam. Having seen your Malaga film, now off to try my luck on the wet streets of Tynemouth!! Thanks for helping me on my photography journey, Cheers, Andy @louchromsey
I have watched all of those who are involved in these project, and since then almost instantaneously changed my perspective to street photography. Composition and way of taking pictures is so much different because I’m always inclined on doing landscape photography now additionally cityscape is also a part of my photography. Thank you Mike sir Robin and everyone. Truly gears matter also. ❤😊🎉
Great video Mike, always fancied going to Barcelona but not made it just yet. I loved watching yours and a couple of others videos on Andalusia, not sure if I watched The Real Sir Robin but watched yours and Thomas Heaton’s, possibly a couple of others but it was a while back now. I enjoyed seeing the different approaches from yourself and Thomas, Street Photographer and a Landscape Photographer as I shoot both myself, we’ll try too. I’m probably too late to win the book, pity it’s not for sale, I think they’ve missed a trick there don’t you? Especially as the whole idea was to promote Andalusia.
Malaga is such a fantastic place for photographers like us. I look forward to returning February '25, and it would be a real treat if the exhibit was still up! Great work and congrats! @danhaug
Great video but I have to comment - finally someone on TH-cam who loads their film in the MP correctly! When I see others load the film, then take 2 load shots and not turn the rewind knob, I get instantly worried.
Do it, it is a very rewarding way to shoot!! I have been doing it for a few years and love it. Something abut the 2 medium styles that is very relaxing to do at the same time!!
@roland_kaufmann_ I would absolutely love to have a copy of the photobook! Truly one of the most amazing projects a tourism board could create and it just happened to include so many of my favourite photographers. I’ve watched just about every piece of content I could from all of the creators, can’t get enough. Everyone smashed it out of the park! Fingers crossed I can be the winner 🤞🏼🤞🏼.
I’m watching this video so late but man, your photographs are beautiful! I wish the book was for sale! It would’ve been cool to add it to my collection!
Firstlight101 -- I enjoyed the video of Malaga and particularly the shots you took along the way. I would agree that it was laidback, but then that's the way I like street photography. Cheers...
I started my photography journey back in November'ish your videos have been a great inspiration. I dont have any photography books yet but I think that very exclusive book sounds like a great way to start my collection. @dermo_photography best of luck to yo everyone!! (Also my comment keeps getting deleted it seems no clue why EDIT: so seems that mentioning that other platform is why it was being deleted damn YT)
@derribos I can’t understand how they developed this amazing project and they refuse to make the book available for the public, specially when the focus was on photography. Typical Spanish. 🤦🏻♂️
Commenting quick before watching the documentary. Love the content, keeping up with you and a few others on here is a huge inspiration, keep it up! _ceedoubleu_
@victormsf -> hi Mike! I'm amazed by how beautifully you capture the essence of the streets. Your ability to blend colors and elements with the people in your shots is truly impressive. Cheers from Portugal! 📷👌
Mike! Love your work and content! I watch both you and Robin, and both of you have contributed to my investment into the M system. I have started my photo book collection and would be thrilled to add the one you featured to my blossoming collection! @milmidstudios
I expected Malaga to be a very touristy and crowded city, but there's so many empty streets in your video 🙂, and beautiful light indeed. But eh...what a shame the Andalucia photobook is not for sale! Time to watch the documentary now... @renedehaanfoto
Hi Mike, recently came across your vids and just wondering if you’d recommend a particular way of getting into photography for beginners? Be interested to hear how you started etc. Thanks 🙏🏻
Outstanding work as always Mike. Your images are just so easy on the eye. But stunning at the same time. And that light is something else. A massive well done pal. @darrenkynochurbanlife
@stillsbyjo - been following the story behind the Andalucia project and it is truly inspirational, making me want to travel more to capture what I normally only do in London where I live
This is very nice and I like it. But it is funny - regions make these things for promoting and support tourism, and then, few years later, they are surprised, that there is overtourism and demonstrate against, like in Mallorca or Barcelona.
Great video, Mike. What an amazing experience to be part of such an awesome documentary. Looking forward to giving it a watch soon. 👌🏽 The book looks beautiful too! @beckyjsphotography
Love your work, especially on film! This video also brought back memories of my time in Barcelona and Seville many years ago. Really a shame the photobook isn't for sale! @framesbynames
Congratulations and great work! The midday light on your walkabouts worked exceptionally well. Normally not the best time of day for shooting. @peterzpicts
5:50 --> That is what I love about visiting Europe. Almost in every country you go, and almost any city, there are photo exhibitions by significant photographers. When I traveled around Europe couple of years back, I found thrilling photo exhibitions everywhere - even in small towns and villages! Here in Norway (Oslo), not so much. Photography is not seen as a "proper" artform here, and I wonder why that is. Sweden and Denmark is a bit better than us, but not by _that_ much
@deltapete Great images, I have recently found your channel after seeing your Andalucia video. You have really inspired me to try some street photography when I'm in Seville and Cordoba next week. 😎
Seeing each photographer's video documenting the project inspired me to take a 2 month trip to Andalucía later this year! Love the work that you do Mike and I'm glad to see you back in Malaga photographing! @ry2drew
Awesome work as usual Mike, just jumped and bought myself a Leica 🎉! You definitely inspired me 😊. Fingers crossed that I win the book as many of my favorite photographers featured in one place is not likely to happen again 😢
Fantastic shots, as always. Thanks for sharing the documentary, Mike. Loved every bit of it, especially how each individual approches their photography. I would absolutely love to win that book. @rk.castillo15
I've been waiting to see the result of all those people we know so well....doing the same thing. Great marketing idea ....and a good outcome for them....and we the viewer. 😀✌👍
Tat book looks incredible! I loved hearing all of you guys’ different opinions on what motivates you nd how you make sense of the world through your photos. I loved your video on your own book. it left me feeling so inspired to shoot!
Watched the documentary, You guys did some great work, and glad you got to see Joels exhibit while in town, he's been an inspiration for me a long old time.
@photography.randy - I love your work. It’s inspired me to start be more adventurous in my street photography

Great video but I have to comment - finally someone on TH-cam who loads their film in the MP correctly! When I see others load the film, then take 2 load shots and not turn the rewind knob, I get instantly worried.
Smh mike, I watch you to escape my inner voice telling me to shoot film. Now I want to shoot film and digital both at the same time.
Do it, it is a very rewarding way to shoot!! I have been doing it for a few years and love it. Something abut the 2 medium styles that is very relaxing to do at the same time!!
Hi Mike, nice one again and thanks for sharing.
