I personally think Get Together is so underrated. I think Windenburg (the world) is the best world in the sims 4 by FAR. We get pools (public pools), nightclubs, cafe's and I just think that makes it so much more interactive. I also LOVE the cas items (though that is biased as I think the style of the cas is closest to my style). Although, I will admit, I never really use the club systems, however it is really detailed and planned out. Anyone else agree?

You made some very very good points about some of the packs! I definitely agree that a lot of the earlier packs are a bit lackluster in content as well as gameplay. I definitely agree with a lot of your thoughts on your favorite packs too! Very good video!

Hahahaha I can relate so much. Like that romantic garden pack was one of the first ones that I bought and I never once thought the kids pack looked good (still haven't bought it) but it's on everyone's top 3 favorite stuff pack.

i laughed when she said this because i am broke so the only pack i made SURE to buy first was Spooky Stuff. She hates Halloween, hates vampires, hates aliens, hates the occult, AND hates HORSES?!?!? I'm frankly SHOCKED AND APPALLED.
I understand that you like/prefer packs that integrate well with the game, but I feel like those should have been in the base game and because of that, they kind of repel me. Of course you should buy the packs that integrate well so that you get the most for your money but again, I feel like they should be included in the base game. Shouldn't DLC's be items and gameplay that is niche, rather than things that you shouldn't have to pay to use?
i agree with this to a certain extent, but my in my personal opinion, i don't think any of the packs are really things that should have been in the base game! even seasons or parenthood which i think are the two packs that integrate with the game so well, there are a lot of players who don't care for those things enough to want them in the base game. also it's a lot of additional work on the sims team, which means the base game would have been more expensive.
@@kallistars I agree with most packs except toddler stuff. The kid's pack makes sense, you are paying for extras. But as Kayla points out, the toddler's barely have anything in the game so you aren't really paying for extra anything, because you never had it in the first place. The idea that I can't give my toddler something to do other than those same old blocks and tablet unless I buy a separate pack is kind of ridiculous
i personally think get to work gets such a bad wrap. I actually really like it and find myself using it more often than other packs like city living, which i found really empty and underwhelming, as there were skills like singing and basketball and don't really go anywhere. with get to work, i loved the jobs, the fact you could pretty much sell anything in your own shop, the aliens, the ability to go shopping, photography, etc. I feel like the pack actually included a lot of content i enjoy to this day. that's just me though.
I think we'd get along great IRL. I'm exactly the same type of player. I love creating families so much that I always continue their stories with at least one of their offspring and I love all your suburban builds. They fit my style of game play so well. I guess that makes me a legacy player. I couldn't agree with your ranking more. I, too, am not a fan of occults in my game. If someone else is, that's cool, but they aren't for me.
i’m also a family and legacy player and i don’t like occults in that gameplay. but i still play with them VERY frequently and they were done really well
Same here. I’m not super RiCh and I can’t afford all the packs so I am not gonna buy any supernatural/occult pack, because I won’t ever even use them. It’s not my thing.
I got a bundle with the last expansion pack I could get (Get Together) so I can't make another bundle for now, and the stuff pack I chose was the my first pet stuff! It just lacks many things, idk, but I probably should've just picked another stuff pack for the bundle, but oh well ig.
I love chameleons You don't need another expansion pack to get the full experience of spooky stuff. If they offered two versions of my first pet stuff, maybe they could have pulled it off. "Spend $4-$5 to get the non-pet stuff, you'll get a hamster and some fun clothes!" If you don't have cats and dogs, "Spend $10 to get all the items!" If you *do* have cats and dogs. Still not a fan of it in any way, but it's better than what they did

Strange thing : I NEVER liked having pets in my game. They're : demanding, dependant, annoying. To me, of course, not a general opinion here. But in the sims it is always like that and... yeah, no, I'm a builder, storyteller, I don't have time for pets basically. Occults on the other hand are REALLY useful to me. I try to add them in my stories in a """realistic way""" and it works most of the time. I completely understand how you can feel different. I know that some Simmers (if not many of them) always tends to play as realistically as possible and I respect that :)
i love it as well, almost all my sims are vampires. however i don’t understand why i love it sm because i like to have a more realistic feel to my game so vampires doesn’t make sense but i love it!

I just got city living and it's amazing. I think the next four things I'll get are seasons, parenthood, laundry day stuff, and cats and dogs. I do need to earn some more money because city living made me broke. So I think I'll get parenthood next. I play with kids all the time and I think seasons will also make my game fun.
@MARIA I get the money and say to my parents “I have the money and it’s what I want to use my money on so therefore I think I should be allowed it” this backfired because me and my sister pay for sims and she had no money to buy seasons so we made a deal I would pay for it and she would give me the money when she had it, my parents refused to let me get her to give me it because she denied making that deal!!

I agree for the most part actually. Cats & Dogs was a bit underwhelming and Get Famous just felt rushed and superficial. On the other hand, Get Together is super useful for socialising and the club system is very versatile. Windenburg is awesome as well. City Living is my personal favourite too, I love everything about it.
@@Maxianaconda I definitely felt Get Famous was very rushed. Usually for the most part the EA builds aren't that bad, they are just meh, but for this pack they were terrible. You could tell it was very rushed. My favorite pack has to be City Living too though.

I totally agree with you on most of your opinions. Personally (this might sound a little ridiculous) if I was a TH-camr on sims I would complain about the amount of normal flooring and wallpaper there is. Maybe this is just something that’s needed in base game but our packs should give us some more normal add ons to wood (not just weird orange basketball flooring) and differently sided paints (we don’t need anymore weird tall wood paneled office kind of walling in expansions.
3 packs we need for sims 4... 1. Wedding Stuff Pack we need more wedding stuff for weddings because I feel like weddings are very bland 2. Funeral Pack Ok maybe this is pushing it too far, but if it was added there would be a option after someone dies to plan a funeral, and other items that come with it, like we already have coffins 3. "Hood Life" Expansion Pack New Location Riverend Streets its a small area, with 3 parts of town, the smallest part is 2 houses that have middle class money and a bigger house, then the trailer park, and then some other houses that have graffiti everywhere.
The idea behind Laundry Day sounds totally ridiculous and annoying, I hated laundry in previous sims. I'm glad the execution of a community-chosen pack turned out so well though
I personally don't mean to cause hate, but I don't fancy Seasons. I feel weird celebrating Christmas in the middle of June. I would rather deck out my whole house with trees and wreaths 2 weeks away from Christmas than 2 weeks away from Independence Day. I know it's my opinion and yours might be different, but I don't understand the big commotion of Seasons. It's not realistic.(Okay, it is, but not the Christmas in June thing. That's not realistic.)
Does it bother you that you are celebrating Christmas in your game while it's June irl? Or that, in your game, Christmas happens during the summer? If it's the latter, did you set your seasons to be longer and then make them shorter? If you do that the space between each celebration stays the same, and you get Christmas in summer. (it's kinda annoying)
May I know why you're backing up EA so much? You do realize that these lackluster packs were just designed to squeeze more money out of obsessed fans' wallets? Many of the contents in these game packs should have been part of the base game or the expansions... . Parenthood = Base game(We've already had The Sims 3 Generations, so they already had a pretty good idea of what features to add to the base game)... . Vampires = Get Together... . Dine Out = Base game or Get Together... . Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day and Jungle Adventures = All could have been in one big expansion... . Strangerville = Ridiculous, but base game nonetheless... and why wasn't the Military career part of the base game??? . Realm of Magic(alongside Strangerville as a secondary idea) = Merged into one large and unique expansion pack, similar to The Sim 3 Supernatural... ... I know the list isn't in proper order... but you get the idea... . Stuff packs such as Laundry Day stuff was better off seen in the base game... ugh, for God's sake it was totally a base game addition! . Toddler Stuff was just a marketing scheme, nothing else(the toddlers themselves did not exist in the base game, so they decided to add them via a free patch that was lacking in content anyhow)... . Releasing My First Pet Stuff after Cats and Dogs was the most obvious marketing scheme of all, as all of it had to be part of the expansion(The hamsters, like seriously! Had to be part of the expansion and not included in a separate stuff pack!) . Bowling Night Stuff = Get Together(Why was bowling left out from an expansion that focused on gatherings and groups?) . Vintage Glamour Stuff = This was not what I expected at all... butlers added in a stuff pack? EA are you kidding me? How else would you get your customers to buy your products? . Moschino Stuff = While I can't criticize this stuff pack that much, the Freelance Photographer career must have either been part of Get To Work or should have been added to the updated version of The Sims 4 or just any other expansion or even game pack. Stuff packs are only meant to add stuff, right? Unless EA's definition of stuff pack has been twisted and now stands for any game content? . Cool Kitchen Stuff = The Ice cream maker should have been part of the base game as we already had those in The Sims 3. Also, stuff packs should only contain regular objects, not introduce new kinds of objects to the game. Remember The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 stuff packs?(There were some exceptions though, I'm aware. The Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff as an example) . Movie Hangout Stuff = Same thing, regarding the popcorn maker and movies for sims to watch. Movies were added in The Sims 2 Free Time, so nothing really new added to The Sims 4 other than reintroducing them to the game. . Romantic Garden Stuff = The wishing well was a new object introduced to The Sims 4. This object was best being given to the expansions or the base game. New object types force players to actually buy the stuff pack just for the sake of that one new object, as the only way for custom contents based off those items to work in most cases, or simply to be able to enhance one's game play using those items. Could be any new item and not just the wishing well. . Backyard Stuff = Water slides, bird feeders and the wind chimes are all new object types that better suited the base game itself rather than being added through stuff packs. Apart from the bird feeder, they were all included in the prequel. . Spooky Stuff = This stuff pack was completely pointless as there were no holidays prior to the release of the Seasons expansion. It did add a new party type to the game, though I'm not going to be too critical as it did not fit into the theme of the base game. ...Rest of the stuff packs seemed a bit better sculpted and more stuff pack-like than the ones mentioned above... I've said a lot... and now I leave you guys to judge. You have absolute freedom to agree or disagree with me whatsoever...
I feel like I’m the only one who is disappointed in cats and dogs 🙃 I mean, the animations, interactions, world & cas are all amazing, but I just don’t think it’s worth $50 (I’m from Australia). I have always thought that they should of done a whole ‘Pets’ pack instead of dragging it out for money by releasing a cats & dogs pack, and probably whole different reptiles, birds, etc. separately.
It's definitely not worth that money. I'm disappointed that there are less animals to interact with than what Sims 3 had. Plus, you could play as your pets, know their ages and needs, plus their skill levels which Sims 4 lacks. I finally decided to try Sims 4 out after five years (because I didn't think it was worth my money when Sims 3 had that open world experience that I loved), and I am still disappointed but I see promise in it. Either way, you're not the only one who is disappointed with Sims 4 Cats and Dogs.
Count me in! I also think "Cats and Dogs" is some kind of a joke! Less animals than in Sims3 (I'm shocked that seasons are not separated), can't see thier needs and can't play as them. And if someone is gonna tell me that "oh excuse me, but irl you also can't play as pets" I'm just gonna me irritated... You can't also play as other ppl irl, you need to stick to yourself!!! Definitely not worth the money...

Windenburg is the best world in the sims 4. I don't care how fun some of the other expansions are just for those beautiful builds and the water fountains get together deserves to be second place after seasons and before cats and dogs. I'm very passionate about this 😂

I really hope they come out with more community-voting stuff (or game/expansion) packs again because though I originally wasn't a fan of laundry, in the end it has some great content (mostly, imho, clothes ;) ) and I just loved the community involvement so I hope EA/Maxis returns to the community collaborations again in the future (hopefully 1 stuff pack per year is voted on like this - I'd like that anyways).
I feel like the most effective packs in general are Cats and Dogs, Seasons and Parenthood because there not things that are just in the background, they effect yo whole gameplay for ever!
I agree with so many of the points that you made! I appreciate you making the Top 5 and Bottom 5 more objective too. Sometimes i forget about the flaws of some of the packs because the CC/ modding community is so on point. Don't like that pets aren't controllable? Mod! Restaurants take to long to cook the food? Mod! City living neighbors complaining about the noise if you flush the toilet too loud? Mod! I love the Sims 4 and it's amazing DLC and community 😁😁😁

I think I have an idea for Maxis; updating stuff packs. It may seem like a cliche idea, but if games can be updated throughout its period of being ran, then surely add-ons can be updated, too. Perhaps adding things like toasters, blenders, instapots, minifridges, and flat top grills to cool kitchen stuff and improving the experience of Dine Out, to make the wait times shorter, or other ideas that can make the packs better than they already are.
Can we please get an updated version of this video, with the new packs and expansions! I love your honesty, and would love to see where you would rank some of the new packs and expansions. Especially with the new voted on stuff pack coming out soon. 😀
i think the only thing that disappointed me about seasons was that there wasn’t a new world. i like having new places to live. also i’m glad we can all agree as a community that the world for get famous is so underwhelming. there’s so much open area and buildings that look really nice but you can’t actually.... go to them... the only thing i really disagree with you on is get to work cause it was my first pack i ever got for the game after playing for a long time with just the base game and it changed the game so much for me. i love the science career by far the best. but anyways this video is very well made and i love how serious you sound and how in depth you thought of ranking each pack, amazing job. 💚💚💚
With seasons the spooky stuff works especially when some premade characters require those clothing looking at you kratos. There are some create a sims for the vampires that i like which you can play around creating a character who is evil with creepy looking face even though this person isn't a vampire.
I bought laundry day and hated the laundry part so much that I deleted the washer/dryer in one gaming session 😂 laundry is the most annoying thing in real life and the Sims!
I adore seasons. It's made me play households so much longer, and every season, I get super excited, no matter how many times I've witnessed it already. I just adore seasons.
I tend to use the Fridge and Stove from Cool Kitchen Stuff in every Build I do. I've also been able to use The Perfect Patio stuff in my Builds. My favorite Stuff Pack would be Movie Hangout, I know it's a boring one but I still tend to like it myself. For Vampires I love the Build mode items, but dislike the actual Vampire aspect, I would prefer werewolves as an occult. My Favorite Game pack is definitely Parenthood, I love everything from it, the Build mode items, Cas, even the actual Gameplay aspect of it I loved using in my Game. And my Favorite Expansion is definitely Seasons, with Cats and Dogs taking Second place.
I wish alien's cult had deeper abilties can unlock alot more like they did spellcaster and Vampires. In my opinion alien seems lacking of stuff too especially to go with that black with green glow theme Idve liked pack made just for that so can get alien spacecraft and.aliens not been able to eat human food. Also it's a shame not much futuristic stuff. I like vampire cult but spellcasters I had much more fun gameplay experience with. I throught be interesting to try create alien populated world even or story wise invasion. As occult player that's me opinion If I exclude all that I definitely I agree with her that Sims 4 seasons pack definitely the best I found without it just not realistic to me and even with me occult gameplay I love weather system.

I LOVE Seasons too - it adds a whole new dimension to the worlds and the holidays are really fun as well :) I also really enjoy Laundry Day as the build/buy stuff is beautiful and totally my style. I quite like Discover University as well mainly for the great CAS stuff. I'm kind of against buying any more stuff packs as they seem too much of a cash-grab to me :P

I love seasons! It's so real when the leaves fall in autumn, and in winter it doesn't snow in all the towns bc it's not gonna snow in the desert. And how it rains all the time in spring. And laundry day is the one I was expecting since a long time ago, before it happened, I thought that was one on the daily things people do in real life and it's not part of the game, so it would be really cool if they add them, like, it would be really realistic. I'm so glad they did :)

I can't help but love Luxury Party pack, it might be my favorite. Those glamorous clothes are always worn by my sims abd that buffet table and fountain are in all my houses ; I often don't want to deal with laundry, halloween stuff is only useful around halloween, I only use hottubs sometimes on rich household, the ice cream machine is even rarer, don't get me started on tiny living, my first pet stuff or toddler stuff. The ones I didn't count I occasionally use but Luxary Party is so underrated for putting quality over quantity
Yeah Season's is by far the most challenging pack essentially with larger families. Although you can manipulate it, I don't. The only idea I think was kind of questionable, was the Halloween adaptation. Yeah the disappearing Gnomes is kinda fun on small houses. But extremely fustrating on much larger houses. I really, really like the way Bills are implemented in Sims 4 over the sims 3. As I only had the console version of sims 3, and everyone knows the console version of sims 3 is limited on size and items. Sims 4 is actually quite challenging even after one reaches the millions of sim dollars for a change.
I am just now realising that I don't have a ranking on this even though I rank every single thing in my world even the people around me! This makes me really happy actually!

I understand that you like/prefer packs that integrate well with the game, but I feel like those should have been in the base game and because of that, they kind of repel me. Of course you should buy the packs that integrate well so that you get the most for your money but again, I feel like they should be included in the base game. Shouldn't DLC's be items and gameplay that is niche, rather than things that you shouldn't have to pay to use?

i agree with this to a certain extent, but my in my personal opinion, i don't think any of the packs are really things that should have been in the base game! even seasons or parenthood which i think are the two packs that integrate with the game so well, there are a lot of players who don't care for those things enough to want them in the base game. also it's a lot of additional work on the sims team, which means the base game would have been more expensive.

@@kallistars I agree with most packs except toddler stuff. The kid's pack makes sense, you are paying for extras. But as Kayla points out, the toddler's barely have anything in the game so you aren't really paying for extra anything, because you never had it in the first place. The idea that I can't give my toddler something to do other than those same old blocks and tablet unless I buy a separate pack is kind of ridiculous
i personally think get to work gets such a bad wrap. I actually really like it and find myself using it more often than other packs like city living, which i found really empty and underwhelming, as there were skills like singing and basketball and don't really go anywhere. with get to work, i loved the jobs, the fact you could pretty much sell anything in your own shop, the aliens, the ability to go shopping, photography, etc. I feel like the pack actually included a lot of content i enjoy to this day. that's just me though.

I love creating families so much that I always continue their stories with at least one of their offspring and I love all your suburban builds. They fit my style of game play so well. I guess that makes me a legacy player. I couldn't agree with your ranking more. I, too, am not a fan of occults in my game. If someone else is, that's cool, but they aren't for me.

"Spend $4-$5 to get the non-pet stuff, you'll get a hamster and some fun clothes!" If you don't have cats and dogs, "Spend $10 to get all the items!" If you *do* have cats and dogs. Still not a fan of it in any way, but it's better than what they did

Strange thing : I NEVER liked having pets in my game. They're : demanding, dependant, annoying. To me, of course, not a general opinion here. But in the sims it is always like that and... yeah, no, I'm a builder, storyteller, I don't have time for pets basically. Occults on the other hand are REALLY useful to me. I try to add them in my stories in a """realistic way""" and it works most of the time. I completely understand how you can feel different. I know that some Simmers (if not many of them) always tends to play as realistically as possible and I respect that :)

I just got city living and it's amazing. I think the next four things I'll get are seasons, parenthood, laundry day stuff, and cats and dogs. I do need to earn some more money because city living made me broke. So I think I'll get parenthood next. I play with kids all the time and I think seasons will also make my game fun.

I agree for the most part actually. Cats & Dogs was a bit underwhelming and Get Famous just felt rushed and superficial.
On the other hand, Get Together is super useful for socialising and the club system is very versatile. Windenburg is awesome as well. City Living is my personal favourite too, I love everything about it.

I totally agree with you on most of your opinions. Personally (this might sound a little ridiculous) if I was a TH-camr on sims I would complain about the amount of normal flooring and wallpaper there is. Maybe this is just something that’s needed in base game but our packs should give us some more normal add ons to wood (not just weird orange basketball flooring) and differently sided paints (we don’t need anymore weird tall wood paneled office kind of walling in expansions.

The idea behind Laundry Day sounds totally ridiculous and annoying, I hated laundry in previous sims.

I personally don't mean to cause hate, but I don't fancy Seasons. I feel weird celebrating Christmas in the middle of June. I would rather deck out my whole house with trees and wreaths 2 weeks away from Christmas than 2 weeks away from Independence Day. I know it's my opinion and yours might be different, but I don't understand the big commotion of Seasons. It's not realistic.(Okay, it is, but not the Christmas in June thing. That's not realistic.)
You can change the length of the seasons in the game menu. It can be 7 days, 14, and 21. There might be a fourth one, but I am not sure right now.

Unless you changed when the holiday falls on the calendar in your game, you definitely shouldn't be having Christmas in the summertime. It's a bug.
Does it bother you that you are celebrating Christmas in your game while it's June irl? Or that, in your game, Christmas happens during the summer?
If it's the latter, did you set your seasons to be longer and then make them shorter? If you do that the space between each celebration stays the same, and you get Christmas in summer. (it's kinda annoying)

. Dine Out = Base game or Get Together...
. Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day and Jungle Adventures = All could have been in one big expansion...
. Strangerville = Ridiculous, but base game nonetheless... and why wasn't the Military career part of the base game???
. Realm of Magic(alongside Strangerville as a secondary idea) = Merged into one large and unique expansion pack, similar to The Sim 3 Supernatural...
... I know the list isn't in proper order... but you get the idea...
. Stuff packs such as Laundry Day stuff was better off seen in the base game... ugh, for God's sake it was totally a base game addition!
. Toddler Stuff was just a marketing scheme, nothing else(the toddlers themselves did not exist in the base game, so they decided to add them via a free patch that was lacking in content anyhow)...
. Releasing My First Pet Stuff after Cats and Dogs was the most obvious marketing scheme of all, as all of it had to be part of the expansion(The hamsters, like seriously! Had to be part of the expansion and not included in a separate stuff pack!)
. Bowling Night Stuff = Get Together(Why was bowling left out from an expansion that focused on gatherings and groups?)
. Vintage Glamour Stuff = This was not what I expected at all... butlers added in a stuff pack? EA are you kidding me? How else would you get your customers to buy your products?
. Moschino Stuff = While I can't criticize this stuff pack that much, the Freelance Photographer career must have either been part of Get To Work or should have been added to the updated version of The Sims 4 or just any other expansion or even game pack. Stuff packs are only meant to add stuff, right? Unless EA's definition of stuff pack has been twisted and now stands for any game content?
. Cool Kitchen Stuff = The Ice cream maker should have been part of the base game as we already had those in The Sims 3. Also, stuff packs should only contain regular objects, not introduce new kinds of objects to the game. Remember The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 stuff packs?(There were some exceptions though, I'm aware. The Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff as an example)
. Movie Hangout Stuff = Same thing, regarding the popcorn maker and movies for sims to watch. Movies were added in The Sims 2 Free Time, so nothing really new added to The Sims 4 other than reintroducing them to the game.
. Romantic Garden Stuff = The wishing well was a new object introduced to The Sims 4. This object was best being given to the expansions or the base game. New object types force players to actually buy the stuff pack just for the sake of that one new object, as the only way for custom contents based off those items to work in most cases, or simply to be able to enhance one's game play using those items. Could be any new item and not just the wishing well.
. Backyard Stuff = Water slides, bird feeders and the wind chimes are all new object types that better suited the base game itself rather than being added through stuff packs. Apart from the bird feeder, they were all included in the prequel.
. Spooky Stuff = This stuff pack was completely pointless as there were no holidays prior to the release of the Seasons expansion. It did add a new party type to the game, though I'm not going to be too critical as it did not fit into the theme of the base game.
...Rest of the stuff packs seemed a bit better sculpted and more stuff pack-like than the ones mentioned above...
I've said a lot... and now I leave you guys to judge. You have absolute freedom to agree or disagree with me whatsoever...

I feel like I’m the only one who is disappointed in cats and dogs 🙃 I mean, the animations, interactions, world & cas are all amazing, but I just don’t think it’s worth $50 (I’m from Australia). I have always thought that they should of done a whole ‘Pets’ pack instead of dragging it out for money by releasing a cats & dogs pack, and probably whole different reptiles, birds, etc. separately.
It's definitely not worth that money. I'm disappointed that there are less animals to interact with than what Sims 3 had. Plus, you could play as your pets, know their ages and needs, plus their skill levels which Sims 4 lacks. I finally decided to try Sims 4 out after five years (because I didn't think it was worth my money when Sims 3 had that open world experience that I loved), and I am still disappointed but I see promise in it. Either way, you're not the only one who is disappointed with Sims 4 Cats and Dogs.
Count me in! I also think "Cats and Dogs" is some kind of a joke! Less animals than in Sims3 (I'm shocked that seasons are not separated), can't see thier needs and can't play as them. Ugh don’t remind me... my son received the mean trait and I always wanted to lock him in a room for yelling at his father who was my crush at the time.
I really hope they come out with more community-voting stuff (or game/expansion) packs again because though I originally wasn't a fan of laundry, in the end it has some great content (mostly, imho, clothes ;) ) and I just loved the community involvement so I hope EA/Maxis returns to the community collaborations again in the future (hopefully 1 stuff pack per year is voted on like this - I'd like that anyways).
I feel like the most effective packs in general are Cats and Dogs, Seasons and Parenthood because there not things that are just in the background, they effect yo whole gameplay for ever!

I think I have an idea for Maxis; updating stuff packs. It may seem like a cliche idea, but if games can be updated throughout its period of being ran, then surely add-ons can be updated, too. Perhaps adding things like toasters, blenders, instapots, minifridges, and flat top grills to cool kitchen stuff and improving the experience of Dine Out, to make the wait times shorter, or other ideas that can make the packs better than they already are.

i think the only thing that disappointed me about seasons was that there wasn’t a new world. i like having new places to live. also i’m glad we can all agree as a community that the world for get famous is so underwhelming. there’s so much open area and buildings that look really nice but you can’t actually.... go to them... the only thing i really disagree with you on is get to work cause it was my first pack i ever got for the game after playing for a long time with just the base game and it changed the game so much for me. i love the science career by far the best. but anyways this video is very well made and i love how serious you sound and how in depth you thought of ranking each pack, amazing job. 💚💚💚
With seasons the spooky stuff works especially when some premade characters require those clothing looking at you kratos. There are some create a sims for the vampires that i like which you can play around creating a character who is evil with creepy looking face even though this person isn't a vampire.

I adore seasons. It's made me play households so much longer, and every season, I get super excited, no matter how many times I've witnessed it already. I just adore seasons.
I tend to use the Fridge and Stove from Cool Kitchen Stuff in every Build I do. I've also been able to use The Perfect Patio stuff in my Builds. My favorite Stuff Pack would be Movie Hangout, I know it's a boring one but I still tend to like it myself. For Vampires I love the Build mode items, but dislike the actual Vampire aspect, I would prefer werewolves as an occult. My Favorite Game pack is definitely Parenthood, I love everything from it, the Build mode items, Cas, even the actual Gameplay aspect of it I loved using in my Game. And my Favorite Expansion is definitely Seasons, with Cats and Dogs taking Second place.
I wish alien's cult had deeper abilties can unlock alot more like they did spellcaster and Vampires.
In my opinion alien seems lacking of stuff too especially to go with that black with green glow theme
Idve liked pack made just for that so can get alien spacecraft and.aliens not been able to eat human food.
Also it's a shame not much futuristic stuff.
I like vampire cult but spellcasters I had much more fun gameplay experience with.
I throught be interesting to try create alien populated world even or story wise invasion.

If I exclude all that I definitely I agree with her that Sims 4 seasons pack definitely the best I found without it just not realistic to me and even with me occult gameplay I love weather system.

I LOVE Seasons too - it adds a whole new dimension to the worlds and the holidays are really fun as well :) I also really enjoy Laundry Day as the build/buy stuff is beautiful and totally my style. I quite like Discover University as well mainly for the great CAS stuff. I'm kind of against buying any more stuff packs as they seem too much of a cash-grab to me :P

genevieve Yeah. The items in the pack (well, some of them) are actually pretty nice, but I do think that the politics of the actual pack do matter.
I love seasons! It's so real when the leaves fall in autumn, and in winter it doesn't snow in all the towns bc it's not gonna snow in the desert. And how it rains all the time in spring. And laundry day is the one I was expecting since a long time ago, before it happened, I thought that was one on the daily things people do in real life and it's not part of the game, so it would be really cool if they add them, like, it would be really realistic. I'm so glad they did :)

Totally agree with you...except that I love occults.
I can't help but love Luxury Party pack, it might be my favorite. Those glamorous clothes are always worn by my sims abd that buffet table and fountain are in all my houses ; I often don't want to deal with laundry, halloween stuff is only useful around halloween, I only use hottubs sometimes on rich household, the ice cream machine is even rarer, don't get me started on tiny living, my first pet stuff or toddler stuff. The ones I didn't count I occasionally use but Luxary Party is so underrated for putting quality over quantity

Yeah Season's is by far the most challenging pack essentially with larger families. Although you can manipulate it, I don't. The only idea I think was kind of questionable, was the Halloween adaptation. Yeah the disappearing Gnomes is kinda fun on small houses. But extremely fustrating on much larger houses. I really, really like the way Bills are implemented in Sims 4 over the sims 3. As I only had the console version of sims 3, and everyone knows the console version of sims 3 is limited on size and items. Sims 4 is actually quite challenging even after one reaches the millions of sim dollars for a change.
I am just now realising that I don't have a ranking on this even though I rank every single thing in my world even the people around me! This makes me really happy actually!
