The Home Free song "Skull and Bones" was written by Chance, the groups baritone/bass singer. the group actually has a Sea Shanty Medley which the VIPs of UBISOFT heard then reached out to Home Free to create and record this original tune for their game of the same title. Have a listen to the Sea Shanty Medley as well if you like sea shanties.

I played a little of early access, and honestly, I think I'll stay with sea of thieves
Yeah you don't actually do anything it's just you and your stupid crew do everything there straight doing 180s on the cannons for me def not buying
I dont played sea of thieves or skull and bones but sea of thieves gameplay looks more interesting and fun (for me). Maybe later it will be good like sea of thieves.

The "drums" are actually done by a beatboxer Adam Rupp.
For an idea of what he can do you should look up "Adam Rupp drum solo" It's a performance at a live concert.
They did bring out a couple of string instruments for when they perform this live.
