Mel, this is an awesome concept. Ndaba Ntsele via Pamodzi Holding piloted this a few years back. They called them Pamodzi smart stores, I remember being invited to one of the launches in Meadowlands.
It would be interesting to find out what really happened - Khona La could benefit from some of the lesson learnt.
My interest is plugging into the ecosystem (meat, fruits, veggies and the tech) - I will definitely reach out to Mr. Buthelezi

I've shared this TH-cam channel because it features incredible guests who are making a meaningful impact, despite not being household names. Great work, Mel! I'm excited to binge-watch all the episodes before you add more insightful conversations to the playlist!

I'm truly inspired by this conversation! As someone who's been contemplating opening a tuck shop in my township for years, I found the guest's practical advice invaluable. I've been hesitant due to the competition from Pakistani and Somali shops, but the insights shared have given me renewed confidence. Thank you for sharing your expertise - it's exactly what aspiring entrepreneurs like myself need to hear!

Very informative. I am in the broiler business. I don't have a market for my 400k chickens and yet I have 6 malls within proximity of our farm. Policy needs to change indeed. Real catalyst.

My sister, it seems to me Khona la js building such a business ecosystem that will allow you to plug into it (DC) - I’d say reach to the gentleman, just not sure if they already into the meat business.
