    Great video. My Uncle owned City Shoe Service until my dad bought it in the early 70's. Left in the late 90's but back closer now in Texas. I recognize some of the buildings like the one at 0:41 as my father knew Mr. Richard Mack.

      My mom & Uncle and grandmother worked @ Dupont's then....(Patti & Tim McElroy/ Hazel LeCompte)
      I actually have a piece of Jewelry that Uncle Tim found in one of the OLD live oak trees I think @ Courthouse square ...(trees were planted in the 1880s)....
      My whole family history lies in Houma...I'm a LeCompte

    My parents and grandparents and aunts & uncles days....
    Dad graduated from Terrebonne in '66 went to Nicholls (raised on Bourg St.)
    Ma graduated from Terrebonne in '68 (raised on Roussell)
    I was born @ Terrebonne General in '81...raised on Johnson St. in Barrios (back when the cow pastures were still there).....
