  • Equestrian World caught up with four-time Olympic Showjumping Champion Ludger Beerbaum who is president of the Longines World Equestrian Academy. His academy focuses on developing and promoting horse riding sport especially in China and Asia. Ludger is convinced that riders from Asian countries have a good chance to succeed at international shows in the medium turn.

I hope these new Asian youngsters develop beyound their animal abuser comrades in China. Do you really trust them to treat horses better than they do with their farm/meat industries??

such a shame that this originally very good rider decided to go done the rode of abuse, it's horrible and he should be ashamed of the methods he's using to get to his competition goals. In this sport, it's important to win with respect towards your horse, and if you feel that your horse isn't up to compete at this level... You shouldn't hesitate a second to just qualify for smaller competition where the horse can enjoy it and not be afraid of the bars !!!!!!
