the wheel of fortune/death is such a tricky exercise! really great for improving your confidence riding into jumps but hoooo boy is it a STEEP learning curve 😂
I did it on an experienced horse for the first time a few weeks ago and it was so much easier than doing it on green horses like i had done before that
I had a lesson with a professional jumper, and we done. It is is easier said then done but I done it, I was so happy for the rest of the day. And the fact I done it on my green thoroughbred. So it made me happier.
Great Video, thank you. Just had a lesson yesterday where we did the halt after the jump. I struggled to keep always straight, next time we can try it with the Poles 😊😁👍🏻
These exercises are perfect for me right now as I am in the last two weeks before I go back to jumping courses outside after three months of jumping single fences indoors( We only really have room for shorter lines in our indoors so having poles might work out better since you can move them further closer to the corners).
Great video, not only is Amanda an amazing rider, but Wow, incredible instructor too!! How lucky for all the Aussie eventers to have her ride for them! I would love to meet her some day!
Real helpful. Please make more of these videos, I really enjoy jumping but I’m not the best and I’m trying to get better so these exercises have really helped thank you xx
Could I please have the distance between the poles in the 5 stride exercise? I know 12 ft stride for jumping, but as these are not jumps, how much have you shortened them? Just so I can actually gauge my horse’s stride for competitions. Thank you!

If you have a spooky horse that has been desensitized that has never seen a jump in its life how do i start my horse is what you call a bully horse and he likes to fight me when im riding in the pasture but if im riding away from home he is fine what do i do
Pony Life you really wanna go there. I don’t put a man made oral torture device in my horse’s mouth. I don’t even use tack. I don’t have ex-racehorse because that money go straight back to that cruel industry. I don’t do dressage cause it forces the horse in an natural positions.
@@megurineluka2767 you NEED tack because without it it can severely damage the horses back if you do vareback 24/7. My horse loves his bit and bridle. When he sees it he'll open his mouth happily. The racing industry isn't that cruel as many people make it. Also our horses love doing dressage and jumping. Stop watching Religh14 and learn some real things about horses.
That was funny seeing her do 9 strides. It looked like the horse was skipping😂
Qiu ye Kachemov it felt like it too 😂

Brilliant
Wow ur horse is beautiful 😍
Thanks this helps
i really want to do showjumping but after falling off twice while trying to learn, im just not confident! how can i overcome this??
It's like when learn to ice skate. Of course your going to fall. but when u fall your body learns how to react to that next time.
Do you have any tips for horses that will rush/refuse/run out? My horse struggles with confidence problems any tips?

How many feet are you using for a pole on the ground 5 stride? I know what it is with a jump

I love Hans all royal blue outfit
Equine Rider haha thank you! I do love blue 😝
Han Equestrian your my idol can you give me some tips on bareback and buying a horse please
Dogs passed out
How far apart are the poles in the first exercise?
The average horse stride is 12 feet so probably 60 ft
If only you could learn jumping through one video.
the earsssssss
Might help if the horse was rounder and more connected
I mean jumping is just fast dressage with obstacles right?
That’s how it should be treated, imo! Haha
That’s what my 21yo mare thinks.
Lol my tb casually doing 5 stride lines in 3😂
Good but she has a crazy chair seat she needs to be more on her seat bones and she wont be behind the motion of the horse

Han how about you stop abusing horses and get educated
Meg how about you stop pretending you know everything?! Han did nothing wrong and probably rides better than you
