Thanks for posting, If you keep turning that propeller control knob in you will damage it. Leave your hand on the fuel condition during the entire engine start. I want to see alt, IAS, engine temp, FF video.
Do you fly one of these as well? Yours looks like a piston. G model, late sixties? I looked for videos of your start up procedures but didn't see any. Have you had the chance to demo the second gen Mark II yet? Excellent hot and high performance.
It would have been nice if you explain to us what you were doing. I've been searching on TH-cam and no one has done that thus for. If you reshot this video and and explained things you'll be the only one on TH-cam and you'd capture anyone who's looking into a 206.
It would have, but that was not meant to be a training video, I was launching on an operational mission and I thought it would be fun for some people to enjoy the sights and sounds of that big Rolls Royce Alison engine cranking up. I don't have that job anymore, but I will go back and make some comments as to what I am doing.

I have to say I have never flown a Soloy 206. Owned and flown lots of other turbine aircraft. Trying to get my PT6-20 U206 to fly. What is the Soloy idle fuel flow? I am still looking to see a Video of Alt, IAS, engine temp, and fuel flow. Sorry for my rough comment but I have to replace prop and mixture controls in my 206s because pilots crank them in past the spring back.
You are right of course. I knew that plane pretty well and watch temps and fuel flows carefully. I don't fly that plane anymore. What are you flying these days?

@dutchvolvofan It is a crowded ramp so I gotta make sure no one is near that big 100 inch prop once it starts turning.

Jeremy, Go back to my videos and see my Turbine Cessna 206 start. Sorry no start flow video. Not flying yet but 550hp with reverse.
In start your right hand shuold be always on the cut off handle for prevent over hot start!!!!
