Bonus Video: Interstate 64 HOV/Express Lanes in Norfolk, VA

This is a drive featuring the HOV/Express Lanes of Interstate 64 in Norfolk, Virginia. The lanes are reversible and available to only one direction of travel during a given time. The lanes are available between Interstates 564 and 264. These lanes carry a higher speed limit than the regular travel lanes as there are no exits to interrupt traffic flow. These lanes are for High Occupancy Vehicles (HOV) during commuter rush hours between the peninsula and southside communities in Hampton Roads. Normally use of these lanes carries a toll unless otherwise stated on the highway message boards. The express lanes were configured for eastbound traffic in this video.
This video was created from a snippet of a future road trip video in the Hampton Roads area in Virginia that will appear on the channel in the future. Footage was recorded on January 1, 2025. This is a bonus video that is apart from the regular schedule. Enjoy!
