- A St. Pete woman has been hospitalized for more than a week after contracting COVID-19, and her friends said she will need both legs amputated because of complications from the virus.
My ex-husband had bilateral amputation of his legs below the knee due to complications from Covid 19. He is getting fitted with prosthesis this week.

Yo genius, the reason why the WuFlu injections are drove around with dry ice is because the injections normally give you a heart attack! The anti-heart attack medicine has to be kept on dry ice and it’s usually only given to the children. Normally the injections only weaken your heart to where you’re probably not gonna live much longer than 30 years old, this time the injections did more.

This is a sad case no matter what political side of the virus a person is on. The virus has no mercy on anyone period. I had several amputations including during the pandemic myself but also she is younger than I am and has her entire life ahead of her. She will face major depression over this and I could only wish her the very best during these terrible times. It really does appear that things are getting better and hope we can all have this behind us soon focusing on our economy while getting our lives sorted again.

Goodness this is traumatic. A 20 y.o. Double amputee, who is used to being active, she hasn't even really lived yet. I hope she gets some good prosethics and can still do some of the things she loves. Wishing u well Claire from dallas tx 💛

She had a congenital heart condition that worsened due to Covid and kept blood from being properly circulated to her legs which, in turn, severely damaged her leg muscles.
@@rogersmith7808 not only that, your body creates such an exaggerated immune response that in turn makes you clot like non other. Ive seen where people had clots from the waist down. At that point there is not a lot of options. I wish people realized there is so much more to this virus than losing your senses or having a chest cold
Blood clotting could be a result of the vaccine, too. There are a lot of factors at play that we are not aware of. Still, it's a tough road ahead for her.
This is awful, but she looks like she will make a good recovery and continue her life's journey
What caused the infection? Actual covid or the shots or clots? So sad.

I would imagine the reason for amputation was blood clots so large it cutoff circulation to her legs leading to Gangrene which is a life threatening situation. Question is.. what caused the blood clots? It would be the first virus in my lifetime of 68 years that ever caused a blood clot. So sad. God bless this young lady.

She should have worn an N95 mask . I wear a mask and vaccinated . I have hypothyroidism so I'm very cautious and limit my outings to shopping and work . I'm so bored can't wait for spring so I can get out walking on trails.
I always wear my mask when going out but I got covid from my kids. They go to school, nothing I can't do.
I wish her a speedy recovery . Also if you have underlying health issues get vaccinated and wear a N95 mask that will protect you from others that could be infected . I had 5 people that came down with Covid in my store in 1 week and I wore my N95 mask and I'm fine .

While it may have been a joke to you the vaccine is like the hep b shot. You might not get it, you may not die but it’s an extra precautionary measure that can save not just you but also others. @@m.687 no I don’t think that is the case for her, it mentioned before that she HAD meaning prior a heart issue. I have all 3 of my vaccines and haven’t been sick for 2 years now. Not even a cold. ( I’ll be 18 in 8 days) my mother who is almost 50 did get COVID because of her work environment even though she is vaxxed. But my mom has a lot of issues as well so it hit her harder, my dad didn’t feel anything though despite being a diabetic. Ofc I can’t speak nationally or globally but based on personal experience and the media most of these people were either already sick or got COVID from people who also had health issues making it develop into something worse. The body will focus on your life sustaining organs, meaning your body will decide to sacrifice your limb extremities to preserve your vital organs. It is an eventual completication when covid starts affecting other organs in your body and it has happened to several people even before the vaccines was approved. After reading several of the comments, one realizes that people give their opinion because they can write, not because they have any knowledge on the subject.
The only thing we know is that she had a previous heart disease (which one?), that she was vaccinated against covid19 (when and how many doses?), that due to an infection both legs had to be amputated. The SARSCoV2 virus itself causes thrombi that can occlude veins or arteries hundreds of times more likely than any of the covid vaccines. Acute limb ischemia may be the first manifestation of covid, rare but it does occur.
Some people ask for a second opinion (she's already amputated, so it's too late). If lack of arterial perfusion is demonstrated and signs of necrosis appear, all necrotic tissue should be removed. There is no valid second opinion here. Of course, prayers to imaginary beings of any religion do not cure anything at all, they only give comfort.
I remember before the vaccine came out that covid was only causing extreme respiratory distress at its worse. Then people started getting vaccinated and all the sudden covid was causing every disease under the sun.

In children, multisystem inflammatory syndrome appears after covid infection. Also disorders in the brain such as delirium, stroke. What matters is the data, not the "it seems to me, I saw that, they told me that".
