Metroid Prime 4 is easily most exciting on the list for me. But Echoes of Wisdom, Mario & Luigi Brothership, and Dragon Quest III HD2D are my easy top 3 for me.
Looking forward to YS X Nordics, YS IX Monstrum Nox was one of my favorite action jrpgs ever Reynatis looks really cool too, always nice to see games inspired by the unfortunate Final Fantasy Versus XIII Visions of Mana also looks really fun, been a while since the last one hope its successful
Decapolice is getting a full buy from me. The idea of a Phoenix Wright-esque story with AI/Virtual Reality AND rpg elements. I think it's gonna be a hit, and I'd want to play sthg new/fresh like that. Dunno why ppl obsessed playing with the same old Mario games 20-25yrs running with no story, the same gameplay.

Definitely replaying Daybreak for the English voices cause a lot of them I recognize. Ys 10, Expedition 33, Trials of Mana, Dragon Quest 3, and Metaphor Refantazio are must buys for me and can't wait to play them.
I love some metroidvania games too. I'm playing Metroid dread at the moment. Looking forward to Metroid prime 4 even though the prime series is basically just a 1st person shooter. Still looking forward to it. I wish they had more Metroid games on the switch. I like the Metroid games on the expansion but I want more new Metroid lol

I get you about Donkey Kong Country returns, but I have 2 problems with it. 1. I really wish they would just make a new Donkey Kong Country Game 2. I just know they are going to charge $50+ for a hd remake of a 14 year old game that they already remade.
Crazy to me how many people were truly hoping for Mario party dlc. Makes me wonder if they'd ever change strategies. Dlc totally breaks their whole strategy with that one
I played Dragon Quest Builders 2, Dragon Quest , Final Fantasy 10, Octopath Traveler, which are disappointing JRPGs I tried. . Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was good because the story was great but the tutorial was so long it felt like 10 hours of college classes. I play games to escape reality this did not help me escape reality until after the super long tutorial was completed. . The best JRPGs are Ys Viii Lacrimosa of Dana, this felt like playing a Zelda game except with more story and you control a party of characters, Ys Ix Monstrum Nox, Sword Art Gun Gale Online because the anime is great, Ys Origins which feels similar to the Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past with a twist.

This list made it clear to me that JRPG and RPG fans of all types in general are getting some of the finest games in all franchises.
