Engine is an S70 B56 not a 1 or 2 - You missed that Euro CSI’s all had a rear wheel steer system & LSD that didnt make it to USA
Euro spec CSis also had an oil cooler.
This does look like a euro spec, no ///M logos on the door handles, the AHK sign in the dash when you turn the key,was on.
Btw that light piece that needs replacement, is about €300 a piece
the day I saw this monster car, I keep seeing it a thousand and one times, even in my thoughts, I liked to drive it one day, the pleasure of driving it, you cannot express the feeling when you drive it, always like that the bmw the monster of sports vehicles since birth

Pretty sure that's a 1/1 CSi. CSi's themselves were built in extremely low numbers, let alone ones in tobago blue, which is from the individual program, and also to get the 2-tone blue interior, I'm 99% its a 1/1. wow amazing

Back when certain car manufacturers knew how to create road presence without giant wings or wide body parts or busy hoods or massive wheels (or over sized front grilles)
The only thing which bugs me on this, is the unpainted door handles. I know they came like that, but they should have all been painted the body colour so you don't notice them.
The E31 took everything that was cool about the 90's and rolled it into a coupe GT car.

I had a chance ounce to buy Julio Iglesias's 850 CSI he almost sold it to the Carmax Store in Davie Florida..but never did because the car would not start when it was going to be appraised..he took it back as a result of a lowball price 😪

The blue color is so nice that even these starfish wheels would look cool if body-color matched....and the OEM rear wing is one of the acceptable...some aftermarket instalations just ruin its uniquie original aura...
BTW I think that all manual 6-speed and later more modern Steptronic (?) automatic for V8 are fun to drive but the orginal 4-speed automatic was too settling combo for sporty GT...
Hi, my dad has a ‘91 BMW 850i. The tape is broken and it can’t change to the CD player. Do you know where he can upgrade the stereo deck like that owner did?

Came with the cassette storage, but no cassette player.
It doesn't have the original stereo.
The original cassette head unit is boxed in the trunk and included.
The E31 is tiny compared to the E92!

This looks Nothing like Lemans Blue, this Looks more like the ESTORIL BLUE!
No it looks like Avus blue. I've owned 2 Avus blue M cars. I will bet it's Avus blue

Although exceptioanlly beautiful, this car remains conceptually handicapped. It's heavy, the CSI even more so. At nearly two tons and measly 380hp under the hood, it's not winning any performance points any time soon and it couldn't even be classed as ''quick''.
It's a luxury coupe and nothing more, sadly it couldn't become best of both worls and buying the CSI to get the top trim of the car is just not worth the money, buying a regular E31 and tuning it up might be though.
