WOW you nailed it Brother. And I smell what God is cooking in these mystic's. Maybe I'm One; a Mystic. Because I just always remember my first love Christ and get out of my own way and in doing so transcend Worldliness and am in "Par Nirvana" so to speak. United with the God Head Universe ect... Essence of all. Im not a scholar but seeker in Truth and found myself here in emptiness.🕊️✌️☮️🧧☸️🙏
It is not about politics or economics. It is about spirituality versus the absolute dominance of matter and the material world and the obsession with things and power, maintaining the status quo at any cost. Those in power, none of them in politics or religion, are fit to be there as they are simply concerned with maintaining the regime and the established order of things, with all the corruption in society, and with filling their own pockets and feeding their own urge to power and following their own dark designs of their inflated egos. They do not care about justice, fairness, equality or the betterment of others, except their own class. They are working on their own agendas. They do not care about democracy, only about capitalism, the greatest evil ever invented. In education it is only about feeding the intellect and unquestioning acceptance of academia. Whereas we should be asking: Is there a deeper purpose in life than what the senses tell us? Is there something intangible but far more important than anything else, than what we see or hear or think? Are we ignoring the heart, the subtle level of deep feelings? Has our own spirit been hidden from us by our obsession with ourselves, obtaining possessions, and the things of the world? Is this flesh and brain all we are or is there something far greater and more universal within us of incalculable value? Are the beliefs of others we have adopted, including those of religion, hiding the truth from us of our own sacred being and true nature? And lastly, how do we unfold that which may be far greater than anything we have ever known and more joyful and fulfilling than anything we have ever guessed or sensed? I suggest we have been stuck in a cloud of delusion far too long and the only place, the only door to the light is within, as nothing without in society has ever worked nor ever will.
I completely agree about education being ripe for revolution and disruption. I would recommend, in regards to economics - that folks with an open mind look up the Free To Choose series by Milton Friedman, or the 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson - both which by far out-debates anything by the Socialists or Marx. @@mortalclown3812 who Zizek? Yeah for sure, from what I hear he’s an unpleasant person but he understands how power and is constructed in a capitalist organization of the economy.
@@mortalclown3812 not surprising. someone who believes the hierarchies of society are ordained by a natural order sounds like a rather unpleasant person
In wich way is Eckhart a warrior of our times? Or did you chose this title because it sells better. Who does not want to be a warrior even if he is a nobody?
Brilliant and clear explanations from Rev.Fox.Thank you very much!
The points about gaps /issues in education really resonate - and the youth are hurting for it
Beautiful

Important to avoid false dichotomies between right/left brain, beancounters/mysticists, etc? There's a potential for waste, excess, etc in everything?

Beautifully stated. I thank you for sharing your wisdom. 💖

Peterson didn't really seem to hold up so well when having his ideas challenge by Slovaj Zizek
@@soph1111e He's also a cantankerous fellow, all told.

o.k.
It's wholly English.
You mean Eckhart Tolle?
Meister Eckhart was a Christian Mystic. Not the same person as Eckhart Tolle. Eckhart Tolle often quotes Meister Eckhart
@@king-szeyip6081 His real first name was Ulrich; he changed it to Eckhart to honor ME.

quite far away from Eckhart. Better just talk about economics and leave Eckhart out.
ABSOLUTELY, This is not Eckhart. It is a political ideology.
You think Christianity has nothing to say on economics?
@@michaelrussell7806 and it's not a political ideology?
You ARE exactly RIGHT
Schools in the ghetto are different than schools in the suburbs. Education is not a monolith.
Keep your political opinions out - Eckhart would not appreciate it.
