This matchless ghazal has so many words of Persian, which is an integral part of literary Urdu. I wonder how many among the audience understand those words like qafas, koo.e.yaar, soo.e.daar, saba, behr.e.khuda

I don't know what to say. Rekhta people must promote and give stage to artistes who belong to this genre. She is good singer of film songs. Wahi baatein hain kehne ki, wahi baatein hain sunne ki, jinhe hum keh nahi sakte, jinhe tum sun nahi sakte

बस माइक कहीं कहीं unwanted sound produce कर रहा है ! इन सभी लोगों को एक studio recording भी करना चाहिए !फिर इस ग़ज़ल का ये version भी कालजयी होगा !

excellent performance, good to hear correct pronunciation, which is typically missing in few generation of singers, even basic word like Khuda, they are not able to pronounce it correctly.
Well.. It is great effort from one of the best talent in music industry. Once Mehdi Hussan asked his friend about the popularity of this guzal. He answered that all the sur can be found in it. It is true that Mehdi Hussan version was one of the master piece of guzal singing and to some extent out of world but she fully justified it with her singing. It is as close as you can get.
Especially to say for this very ghazal sung by my favourite Silpa Rao Ji, I can just say I become spellbound every time I listen to her such a unique voice....a blend of love, passion n divinity.....the many more time I listen to the far more I fall in love with her soul in the very deapth of my embedded soul. Love U, SHILPA❤
