He was winning so much that there was a tourney where the trophy was already marked with his name and then he lost unexpectedly and it was a really awkward moment for the winner to lift up the trophy lol. Tekken is always been popular in Pakistan from the early days of arcade like in 2000s. The only things holding Pakistani players back were the visa issues and the lack of awareness about these tournaments as such, otherwise, they would have dominated international Tekken then as well. But that being said, this shouldn't take away the fact that KNEE is any less of a legend; he achieved a lot and definitely played a vital role in inspiring many current Tekken champions (including Arslan and Atif).
For Tekken has to be Arslan Ash, Ash might be the FGC Goat in general. He's coming for Wongs 9 EVO"s. Even though some of the EVO's Wong won were in dead games, and some of those EVO's had 300 or less competitors, while Ash is winning EVO's with 1500 or more. Tekken 8 EVO had more than 4500. ASH might be the greatest talent the FGC ever produced when he is finished. To put things in perspective, Atif Butt crushed everyone at EVO, and lost to ASH.
First the criteria used to be the number of Evos a player has won to give the title of best tekken player, but now as Pakistani player has won more, criteria switched to popularity. It's funny 😂
