Appalachian Trail Adventure 2024 Day 31 Wind Gap

May 9th 2024 - Appalachian Trail Adventure 2024 Day 31. This was a very rocky day and again hard to find water on trail. We needed up camping behind Detzi’s Tavern so we could get water and a good meal. The owner Shiloh was amazing! Started at mile 1274.1 hiked to mile 1281.9 total AT miles 7.8 + 0.9 for water + 0.7 road walk = 9.4 for the day. Lol

Check comments in farout. They will highlight folks that will let you fill up on water. 1/2 mile to get water is workable. Just do it when you need to. Soon you will be in NE wishing the water would go away.
