Progressivism is not about "love" and tolerance, it's about silencing and disparaging anyone who doesn't follow the progressive agenda in perpetuity. A tenant of fascism in case you didn't comprehend. This is why Dems lost so badly in this election, NOT because the country is full of racists and mysogynists. But from what I have been seeing and hearing the past few days, Dems have not turned inward to reflect, they are mostly in full force casting more hate and blame in the opposite direction.

Liz Cheney is the daughter of Dick Cheney and is very much a neo-con just like her father and very much tied to the Deep State & Globalists!! And if you may recall, Dick Cheney was the man who helped coordinate the Conflict with Iraq by promoting the False Narratives of "Weapons of Mass Destruction" (WMD's) in Iraq!! He is also the man who pushed for the creation of the "Patriot Act" & was the CEO of "Halliburton" which was awarded a $7 Billion Dollar U.S. Government Contract! Additionally, "Halliburton" defrauded American taxpayers of "Hundreds of Millions of Dollars" in Iraq and Dick Cheney has never been Indicted (the way Donald Trump has been) for his many Crimes!! Don't let Liz Cheney fool you!! The Apple does not fall far from the Tree!!!

Liz Cheney says two strong parties are necessary. That is absolutely wrong. Two parties go hand in hand with the bipartisanship bs plaguing the political arena. At least 3 strong parties are required but perhaps we will never see that and therefore bipartisanship chaos and madness may continue on indefinitely. The two strong (although presently the Republicans are a lame duck party) parties system that presently exists has never worked well enough to do justice to the constitution. 😮

Every day I look forward to Heather's posts. I'm always so disappointed when she needs a day off!! But I totally realize how selfish that is of me. Btw... I bet she gets lots of lobster. MY reaction to the first debate was ANGER at my guy--Joe Biden. I was furious that he'd show up so pale and exhausted. His face was GREY and he looked dopey. @@ The guy I thought was our last, best hope to send Trump to the trash heap, looked like a patient sitting in a wheelchair mouth-breathing and watching The Price is Right. The media went on a crusade to crucify Biden, which also made me mad. Little did I know how well Kamala would step in and turn this whole thing around! ❤❤❤

It makes sense that lots of folks watched this event's video featuring Heather Cox Richardson - a celebrity writer with a huge following. For good reasons. And, yes, I must be some brand of nerd to find Susan Glasser and Peter Baker more interesting because they've delivered such consistently outstanding journalism for so, so many years. Peter Baker especially has become my Walter Cronkite - the one person I've always trusted. The thing I miss most after cancelling my sub to the NYT is hiim. I will vote in Kamala...but I do not feel happy with the Chenneys supporting her because Dick Chenney was the principal planner of the 9/11 bombing, and Donald Trump knows about it. He is a friend of the owner of the WTC complex, Larry Silverstein, another main planner of the attack, between others on the Bush Government.

As a Canadian, if I was a U.S. citizen I probably would be more aligned with the Democrats. I would have made the exception and voted for Ronald Reagan at that time. I believe that Liz Cheney is an incredible human being, who does truly have the nation’s best interests at heart. She impresses me as being a very honest, caring, and extremely bright woman…to name just a few notable qualities. It has taken a phenomenal amount of courage, conviction and tenacity to do what she has done, i.e., support the Democrats in this election. She recognizes the importance of saving democracy at this point in history. When Harris gets elected, I do hope that she works with Liz Cheney by giving her a position in Government that will help her to be part of a true Government that is of the people, by the people, and for the people. While I would be more of a liberal, I recognize the need for liberal and conservative points of view. Both viewpoints are extremely important, as we are all unique people. Different people have different needs. Good luck at the polls next week, U.S.A. You’re a wonderful country and we appreciate you being nearby. The U.S.A. is a magnificent country, with the most opportunities available to all of your citizens. I find it an honour to visit the U.S. Don’t let that pitiful excuse of a human being try to convince you that America is a trash can. Trump is all about, and only about, himself and money. Hopefully, Trump will lose the election and you can pick up the pieces and continue to install a secure government. We Canadians want a happy, kind, intelligent, caring, resourceful nation next door. We are your brothers and sisters, eh?
