    FYI - The chain from either the Rattler or Sizzler should extend to the EDGE of the cymbal but not beyond. Trim the excess with wire cutters. Any excess beads left attached are not in contact with the cymbal's surface so they do not add to the sizzle sound. ProMark provides these trimming instructions on the back of the package's header card.

      What will happen to the length of the sizzle when you don't cut them? Wil they sizzle for a longer or shorter period of time?

      @@nigelpassage2Good question. And to answer - any excess beads are just excess weight which will shorten the duration of the sizzle sound. If they aren't in contact with the cymbal cut 'em off...

    They both suck. Can't tell any sizzle. Rivets are far superior.
