All these years later and i still get that "this will never happen again" feeling when i listen to Motorhead. I'm lucky i got to see them live once. RIP Lemmy, we all owe ya one 🤘
What a goddamn heartbreaking turn of events Lemmy's passing was. Still kicks me in the guts every New Years. 😢 R.I.P. Lemmy, Fast Eddie, Philthy Phil and Wurzel. 🤘
The man gave his all, right to the end. Legions of fans are devoted to their favorite rockers. Lemmy was a rocker who was devoted to his legions of fans. The man was a one-off. There will never be another like him.
Motorhead Concert... Ace of Spades1981 @Danforth Music Hall Toronto ... I swear afterwards I was literally D-E-A-F 3 days ..... Makes sense when Lemmy says " I Can't Hear You.. !!! " RIP ❤🎸🔊
If I lived to be a million years old, I'll never forget the one and only time I was lucky enough to see Motorhead live. Opened for Alice Cooper. November 1987, St. John's Newfoundland, Canada St.John's Memorial Stadium. Was a pretty funny fight in the parking lot. Involving a Chevy Blazer / GMC Jimmy repeatedly ramming a full size van and the occupants scrapping it out. We had a front row seat in my buddy's Chevy Suburban and having a laugh, among other things. 🥴😵💫🤤
Saw Motorhead twice. Once in 85 or 86 then again for The World is Yours tour. The first time was pure unadulterated power. The second ole Lem was struggling a bit but made it thru the set. They were Motorhead and they played rock and roll!
Every time I see Lemmy say "We Are Motorhead, DON'T FORGET US, we play rock&roll" it makes me sad to think that anyone could ever forget Lemmy, Fast Eddie, Philthy Phil, and Wurzel.
I only saw Motorhead once, at the Vougue, in Vancouver.. I played guitar in a Motorhead tribute called Snaggletooth. We toured across Canada,, I loved playing Motorhead to audiences who were totally into it.....
Lol I can't think of a harder job than to be motor heads drummer, lol. R.I.P. boys. You deserve it. You blazed a trail for the future rock n roll youth that will never grow back over.
Valkyries have borne Lemmy to Valhalla, where he commences to shake the rafters with his Thunderbass whilst the Gods get hammered on mead and happily go deaf. THERMONUCLEARMOTORHEAD! \m/
I would love to have seen Motor Head played at the grand ole oprey I would have paid money just to see the look on those country faces they would have probably ran to get away lol may Motor Head music never die it needs to stay alive because it's musical history
the first time i saw motorhead was day before concert someone really stupid hit him with that coin in the hand,i was so ashamed for Yugoslavia then.. 1989.. they played two nights in Ljubljana, fortunately i saw them the first night.
I love their song “ drowning in your screams “ on the last album & it deserves inclusion in some sci fi blockbuster & it’s reminiscent of master of the universe ❤️🏴

I saw Motorhead in September or October Before Lemmy passed in December. There is no way he and any one around him did not know he was seriously ill. I was in the back of the room and I damn well knew! I took a seat and cried through nearly the entire show. I knew i would never see Motorhead again. The man was a skeleton in clothing. Weak and out of breath. the opening act played for an hour and half.

Mickey Dee....what the hell of a drummer.....
What the hell indeed.
He’s a Human Machine
Still preferred Taylor - he had more delicate finesse use of his hi-hat. Dee is more a pure Heavy metal drummer.
He damn sure is. King Diamond is probably still kicking himself over losing him.
