Tocilizumab Treatment of COVID-19

The first part of this animation explains the inflammatory storm caused by an overactive immune response is the critical cause of mortality in severe COVID-19 patients. The second part demonstrates that the Tocilizumab treatment developed from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) has contributed to the fight against COVID-19.

this drug saved my father when he is in critical condition where he is not able to take proper oxygen in 2020 august. now my father is in home and doing well thanks to the scientists and doctors who involved in making this drug for humankind 💞🙏🙏

The explanation of the way in which cov induces a " cytokine storm" is simplistic, hence difficult to understand as is how blocking exclusively IL- 6 can stop the complex interactions occuring to induce the cytokine storm. The origin/ cause of the new protagonists - over active T cells- is also obscure.

My mom hase hrct sevierity 19/25, oxigen saturation maintain 88 to 91,and 15days over.. Plz give suggestion
Actually blood sugar levels normal( she is not diabetic) at starting day, but 15 th day sugar level increasing
