Did you know you can find 'wild caught' and 'line and pole' caught Tuna in a can?! I'm using it in this video (see the show notes above) Whatever your favorite brand, it sure makes it nice and convenient to keep some canned tuna in the pantry for some last minute meals like this one! Debra :-)
Yes the brand I'm using here is tuna in a bit of it's own juices - but you can use tuna in water or tuna in oil. Either will work great :) The tuna in water takes a bit more oil added while cooking since it absorbs so much - but it very tasty when you use a good oil! 😀
Even before your recipe, I need to compliment you on your method of doing the usual YT prompts of suggesting subscriptions etc. The way you do it is so pleasant and right-to-the-point! Your edits are great but I have to admit to being drawn to wondering about the beautiful hardware on the door in the background that is maybe a divider between your kitchen and dining room? Really enjoyed this video and think that my mother would have loved it, she tried to find great ways to use tuna to please my dad during Lent. Hubby isn't much a fan of tuna but I will find a time to have a lunch meal with my mom and enjoy this dish together and reminisce about Dad. Thank you!
Wow Molly Smith, thank you so much for the compliments!! I love that this recipe makes you think of your parents and sweet memories of your dad - and I'm so happy you can share some reminiscing with your mother over this meal. And as for the door handle, yes you are correct - thanks for noticing and complimenting it! Debra :-)
Love your channel and videos. So you have three cans of tuna for a family meal and a whole box of pasta? I truly can't wait till I have everything to make this for my husband and myself. You are such a great cook and thanks for sharing.
Thanks again, Sandra Sanzenbacher! I love your comments!! And yes, I use 3 cans of tuna for my famiy of 5. We usually don't have leftovers with this, but we are known to overeat this one, LOL! You may want to use the 2-3 cans of tuna with half the pasta for you and your husband. Since the tuna cooks down, I like to go heavy on it. Debra :-)
Hi sang chang! If you like the flavor, go ahead and use the oil in it. When I use oil packed tuna, I don't drain it. (The kind with water is best to drain.) As it's cooking in the skillet, simply add more oil as needed. No adjustments needed! Debra :-)

Hi ShesInLosAngeles, thank you!! And yes, get some capers! They last so long in the fridge and they're so so so good on this spaghetti! Debra :-)

I love your easy meals. Looks so good.
Thank you so much, Meghan Stufflebean! 👏❤️
I usually use oil packed tuna since I like the flavor of the tuna in it. In that case, how would I adjust in cooking process?

Greetings from Canada! look forward to trying your recipe!
Hello mapp47 from Canada! Thank you so much!! Debra :-)
Pepper flakes? Black olives? Parmesan? No salt, that's what the capers are for! Keep up the good work.
Good job!!! You are a good chef

Prova! Vedrai che ti piace - ricordati il tonno va cotto e assorbe un bel po di olio 😀
No garlic?
I use garlic in most of my cooking, but not this one. :)

No! No! No! That’s not Spaghetti
Well, true this is not the infamous "spaghetti sauce".. but this is a spaghetti pasta, and it's very good 😊 Debra :-)
