Believe it or not Fami was already very well known for doing her own music before auditioning to join Lovebites
Drummer Haruna wrote this song in Japanese on their Lovebites EP Asami transferred it to English when they added all four songs from the EP to their 1st whole album Awakening from the Abyss.
October 2022: Faaaaaaaaaami (like "far") was announced as "5th element of LOVEBITES" with this video from the studio (in black, first official session, if you don't count the jamming from the auditions).

When they first introduced Fami, it was with a shortened version of this video where the focus was on her.
I appreciate, that they didn't make this a ProofOfConcept for Fami, but for LOVEBITES 2.0. The message was "LOVEBITES is back!"
I'm going to reply you here so as not to alert the troll. In the two old dudes reaction, those other 2 accounts with "metal" in the username are actually my accounts. A few of us in the Wolfpack have created extra accounts to combat the troll, ie. fight fire with fire. Acknowledge you have read this reply with a "like", etc... I will then delete this reply.

This masterpiece was composed by Haruna, and lyrics was written by Haruna and Asami.
I like this song because it was written by Haruna
The bass is more prominent in the mix as usual. So the focus on Fami is more in the audio. And she stays in front of this stage setup and not on the „normal“ bassist position …
There is also a short version of this video on LOVEBITE‘s TH-cam channel to welcome Fami and introduce her to the fans. I haven’t seen such a warm welcome to a new member before from other bands.

Fami's audition tapes were done in a stripped down studio large room. We were able to see the members of Lovebites in a way never seen before. Fami came into the the audition with a humble but hopeful attitude and her competition was very good. I think the other bassists that tried out would have also been good bassists for lovebites but the right choice was definitely Fami. She played Hammer of Wrath, Shadow Maker & Golden Destination. I was very impressed with her bass sound and her understanding of how to play the songs. She brought an awareness of her predecessor's stage performance and adopted it to her own style. Nothing makes me happier than to see Fami absolutely nail Golden Destination on her trials and it was the moment that I knew for sure she was the best choice.
I guess this is the first official session that was recorded after the audition.
After listening for over 40 years of rock and metal, especially pointing out Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, Lovebites has the best dual guitarists in the genre of rock/metal.
Though I do miss Miho, I think that Lovebites did a great job picking Fami as their new bassist. Check online for individual Fami videos she made before Lovebites and new ones. Her newest posted just a day ago named Creepy Nuts, Bling-Bang-Bang-Born (Bass Cover).
Thank you for your reaction. I also advise you to watch LOVEBITES perform this song at a concert. The atmosphere of a live concert and the reactions of the audience will give you additional emotions from the performance of this song.

Fami rarely showed her face in her pre LOVEBITES videos so many didn't really know what she looked like. In this video she looks as if she is still hiding her full face with her hair. I wonder if that was "force of habit"? 😊

Hello everyone.
Fami has surprised me in an incredible way. His technique is tremendous.
I must say that we all love Miho, but I sincerely think that Fami is a better bass player, and he has also given the band the fresh air that it needed after the two-year break.
Miho imbued the band with an air of melancholy that perhaps would negatively affect the group in the long term.
Fami is youth and joy and eternal smile and enormous quality.
