Great video as ever. Suggestion - what would be really useful would be a video on intermediate precast concrete floors and how to create them correctly, show the hollow cores along their length and add an insulation layer with a screed on top. Almost all of the buildings I work on use this method of construction from 3 storeys upwards. After that maybe a video on ground beams and piles would also be useful. As Architects we need to show this info on our drawing, if only generically until the Structural Engineer has finalised their design.
He's designing basement level, very typical in cold climates where footings start below the frost line. In this climate, you typically you use a basement or crawlspace in the space between your first floor and footings.
I have great difficulty altering stacked walls once they are in place. the dimension tool becomes frustratingly absent or doesn't want to adhere to the inside face of core. Just trying to do a brick veneer recess in slab.
Hi Balkan Architect, good tutorial from you. I have a question when is setting footing by selecting wall I can do that. But I cant put footing when I have a storefront façade for a house. How can I do? Thank you!
thanks, but i have a problem, when selected the wall footing and change the eccentrecity, the corner of the foundation does not close like the walls and there is a little extend of the foundation past the wall, please, how could I fix it?
I get a lot of comments here on youtube, I can't answer all of them. But if you are interested in my courses, feel free to contact me through my website, if you sign up (free) you can message me about the courses you are interested in.

I am confused. Why the flooring is with the wall foundation?
Hi, my friend. I have a question? what is your workflow with the foudation's excavations in the toposurface?

What I found was to disallow the automatic join of the walls in the corner, and then extending and joining them manually with the join geometry tool.

Thanks for the tutorial.... Sorry but too much advertising... 13min video 4 ads....
I wonder how many clicks you've wasted setting the units to metric every time... mine starts in metric, why doesn't yours?
thanks
