    Full disclosure, I have an Artura that I purchased from Matt. It came in about 6 weeks ago. Just like he did with this video, Matt did an amazing job helping me thru the order process and keeping me informed along the way during the build and delivery process. Once again, if you are considering any super car or exotic GT, and you can get down to Saint Pete,, it is worth your while to see Matt. He is not just Mr. McLaren, he is super knowledgeable on all exotics. As far as my Artura, so far I have been very impressed and extremely happy with it. Like any exotic, it has some small idiosyncrasies that I will leave Matt to describe in another video but overall it is simply amazing! It does everything you expect a super car to do. More importantly, as a daily driver, it is very well behaved and surprisingly comfortable. This past week, summer has burst upon us in Central Florida and with it the usual torrential downpours. While I wouldn't suggest that you purposely see what this car can do in sideways rain, I can testify that it handled it very well, much better than my previous 2 cars (Ferrari Portofino & Jag F Type SVR) and even a little better than my 997 911 Turbo S. It was a relief not to have to white knuckle it all the way home earlier this week when returning to rural Central Fl from Tampa. After my painful experiences with Ferrari dealerships and Ferrari themselves, it is a very welcomed change to deal with a salesman, dealership and manufacturer that truly appreciates all their customers. I look forward to being a part of Team McLaren for many years to come.

    I had an amazing experience purchasing a McLaren Artura from Matt Jones at McLaren Tampa Bay. An ultra pro, genuinely fun guy, Matt is super responsive with decimal-point-perfect expertise and knowledge... Above all, Matt delivers the true British immersion experience while buying the true British Supercar. This is my third new McLaren, and it won't be the last McLaren I buy through Matt Jones at McLaren Tampa Bay.

    From the UK, gods country Wales …… great overview … Your explanation on maintaining the battery levels is by far better than any of the U-Tube car journalists here in the UK… They only state and show that the car must be in Track Mode to keep charging the battery to its full % … They have not shown how you can use the left leaver of the steering wheel and charge the battery in a different mode….. ??? They need to see your content ! Great car, surprised to hear you say that this McLaren was more powerful than the 675LT …?? … wow… I think in time the 675 LT will be the McLaren that will be a payday ….??

      Thanks so much for the comments.. 675 LT will be a piece of McLaren history .. customer of mine has a 675 coupe with the roof snorkel and that’s still one of my favorite McLaren cars ever

    Great video Matt and thanks for letting me drive this car today, it's an impressive improvement in quality all round vs. previous models, yet still very "Mclaren". Brakes are stupid good and the steering...well...still the best in the business. The torque fill from the electric motor is like a punch in the back and it feels (surprisingly) pretty close to the 720s, performance wise. I can't wait to test the two back to back on the track, as I suspect there won't be much in it at all and if that's truly the case, very well done Mclaren!!!

    To start the car using the engine do you have to toggle up to sport or track everytime? And does it remember what mode you last left it in when you switched of the car? I ask this because I'd like to know if it is possible leave it in a mode that allows the start of the engine everytime instead of the electric motor?
