U.S. Ver... Why does everything have to be translated for those U.S. people? I bet there are many U.S citizens reading this comment who prefer the original Japanese version, which they listened to anyway if they know about this band. The main attraction of this band is that they are Japanese women, who play metal music with Japanese lyrics god damn well. Never forget that.

It's so funny to me that someone like you writes comments like this as if you are so passionate about their Nemophila's lyrics in the "original" version of Dissension when you clearly never knew the lyrics in the "original version". Why? Because if you did know the lyrics in the original version you never would've written this comment. That's because the lyrics to the "original version" of Dissension was 90% in English already! All this version does is add literally FIVE lines in English to a song that was already almost entirely in English. Good job.

Saki is just amazing. I love bands like this where each member is so skilled in their own right. Lovebites, Band maid, Unlucky Morpheus for example.
Nemophila is my favorite Asian FeMetal band, with Hanabie a close second! ♫

@@Yuppdihey yeah Babymetal's band, called the "Kami Band" are amazing. I think a few of them are famous pro musicians in Japan. Su metal is one of the best singers out there period.
@@shirokaminokageyami hell yeah. I listen to Bridear and Trident. Interesting thing about Trident is they got a new drummer but she plays just like their old drummer Junna(who was the "centerpiece" of the band because she's famous on youtube)

@@radioraffa If you've heard the English version of "dissension", you'll know the difference. Most of the choruses are in Japanese, and it doesn't feel so smooth after switching to English.
The Japanese language in music has its own poetic flow..

You guys do know this English version was released on the Extended Oiran cd. Having this new mv is just an extra treat for all of us.
ネモフィラ名義で発表された楽曲郡はいずれも名作ですけれども、この曲は別。控えめに言ってネモフィラ史上どころか日本の音楽史上に残る名作です。メンバーの皆さんの魅力が幕の内弁当のように詰まったこの曲で世界が見えてきたと言えます。新しいMVもサイコーですね。

Given her background, I see her as a musician who predominantly plays drums. Don't forget: She plays guitar, bass, keyboards, sings and composes music as well.

Two of the absolute bands from Japan are playing here in the States next month. That they both happen to be all-female is somewhat remarkable, if you think about it. At least for us here in the U.S., where all female bands are not that common. I love them both, and am actually seeing Band-Maid in Seattle. Hope that the fabulous musicians in Nemophila tour here next year as well. Congrats to Mayu in joining Tamu in motherhood.
