its to show appreciation to the captain/the pilot for getting them their safely with out an emergency in the first place. also flying isn't takeoff push a button and land its a difficult job, SHOW A BIT OF GRATITUDE
I've been to Zante, but that was when I was younger so I didn't make a video :( Closest I've got for a full flight to Zante is to Kefalonia which is the next island along. Sorry :/
At a pre-determined altitude the thrust is reduced from take-off to climb, modern aircraft (boeing or Airbus etc) have computerised throttle management systems so this reduction normally happens without pilot intervention - hence it can be fairly quick.
In Airbus flights, there is a standard thrust reduction. The throttle is set from take-off go-around or FLEX setting to Climb Thrust. This is not because of rate of climb, it's a setting in the computer such as "at x feet, set CB" but called Thrust Reduction Altitude.
It involves a lot of leaning and twisting round. Gives me back pains if I do it for long times like this, but that's the case whenever you sit in front of the wing I suppose. Its a sacrifice I make to hear the great engine sounds, which you don't hear behind the wing or over it.
I think....... it's because the A/T. if the headwind increases, the Air Speed increases too, so, the engine make these corrections to keep the asigned airspeed.... Well, that's what I think
Hey! Someone who understands! I know i had that problem when i saw in 4F when i went to Newcastle in July. Trust me, the best row in front of the wing is 5F. You have one window, but it is exactly on your right, so you just look out, no awkward leaning back or front. Row 4F is like that too!
Hi great video, I was wondering if you have any full flights to Zante (Zakynthos Greece) as I am going there with EasyJet at the end of this month, anyway just a suggestion if you havn't already done so :) PS. I Subscribed to your Channel ;))
Is 3A a good seat? Or do you have to lean back or forward to see outside and get the wing? I sat on 3F a few weeks ago and i had to lean a bit forward to see the wing. Row 5F is best because the window is exactly where your head is so no leaning back or forward. Row 4F is horrible is you want to film. There are 2 windows buy you either have to bend your head backwars or learn forward quite a bit. I have to face this dilemma of choosing a seat every time i travel.
I hate the sound of the engines changing gears during the climb. Maybe I suffer from vertigo, but it sounds like they are going to stall. Terrifying! I fly from Newcastle to Amsterdam this Friday Lol
He didn't slow down too much, its auto throttle. ATC also impose speed restrictions until you're above certain altitudes and noise abatement purposes. Its a common thing. Every aircraft/airline will reduce power after take off. And increase again during latter parts of the climb where needed.
After take off they put the throttle into climb thrust which reduces the power to the right amount for climb, also speed restrictions - below 10,000 feet pilots are restricted to 250 knots
when you hear the engines spooling down it means they're leveling off due to altitude costraints of the departure procedures or for atc indication. When you hear engines spooling up again it means they have been cleared to continue climb. Gatwick has a lot of such restrictions. (not a real pilot, just an aviation enthusiast)
Negative - pilots generally fly pretty close to what the A/P wants, and they will be flying the SID too. Airspeed does not lower. Don't know where you're getting this from...
I cant wait until I go to Spain Benidorm for my holiday I am going in the same plane and my airline is easy jet. I am going in october and i need a way to calm my self down because i am getting to exited. sorry for bad spelling.
Fantastic video!
I love it when the rain clears off.
There is nothing better than the feeling of soaring through the skies.
Thanks for producing these full flight video's very much appreciated. Thanks.
Very very nice video, mate! Easyjet are much better than most other budget-airlines. :)
cfms sound so good on full throttle. one of the most underrated engines imo
For some reason I am OBSESSED with the A320, B737 and Erj 170. They are neither big or small, neither too futuristic, only perfect:)
its to show appreciation to the captain/the pilot for getting them their safely with out an emergency in the first place. also flying isn't takeoff push a button and land its a difficult job, SHOW A BIT OF GRATITUDE
Its not normally as quick as that. Its often a steady reduction.
I travelled on this plane two days ago from beijing to frankfurt in a lufthansa awesome plane. i like the tv's behind the seats. livestream cameras
I love watching your Full Flight Vids!!! Very good effort Sir!!!! :D
I've been to Zante, but that was when I was younger so I didn't make a video :( Closest I've got for a full flight to Zante is to Kefalonia which is the next island along. Sorry :/
Its ok bud we love ur vids
Yeh me too

Great video. Gonna take this plane on Friday. Very excited.
I live in the US and will be taking that plane back home to Las Vegas in January. Scared of flying.

Very cool i love it when your flying above the clouds.
Just booked easy jet Manchester to Dalaman,Turkey for Oct,flown with them once before.
your vids have the best sound. well done keep it up.
I really enjoyed this vid, thanks for posting it!
Beautiful footage mate! Keep on posting!

I'm going from Boston to CA in 1 week same type of plane. 1st time on one. I've been on Boeing all the time.
i love that sound of the engines
Madeira is really nice and worth visiting I went myself...twice
All flights do it- once the autopilot goes on, the rate of climb is reduced, the airspeed lowers and flies the standard instrument departure (SID)
always wanted to go to Madeira! didn't know easy jet flew there.
Prior to landing the autopilot off horn can be heard very nice video
Love your Videos included the boardig!
Landing on beautiful Island of Madeira
appleseedfanatic your flight will be soo long I've flow from BOS to SAN and it it 6 hours hope you have fun in California
Great video loved it, more please :-)
super video...
i just go back to classic toy story ''its not flying its falling with style''
Miserable on the ground, beautiful in the air.
Ive boarded from that gate before for a flight to ACE pier 6 is one of the best places to board an aircraft as you get to cross pier 6 bridge
oooooooooo📺

No the airspeed increases from the v2 speed to usually 250 kts, then 280, 300 and then Mach I believe- don't know what I meant last message :/ sorry

very nice video man :)
I'm pretty sure it's to reduce airspeed during the climb. They usually pump the engines back up a little, but not fully once levelled out.
really nice video ,easyjet is low cost but very good ,nice food and drinks and you can also buy gifts
love the special easyjet at 6:25
lovely video!
Really good video thanks :)
Easyjet is my favourite plane
no but you hear it if you in the front and the pax are quiet. on one video i saw yesterday i even heard the GPWS.

I'd love to visit Madeira even if just to experience the landing at Funchal
It's a bit scary but it is definitely worth it because Madeira is absolutely beautiful
Did anyone else hear the autopilot cut-out noise at 33.51?!
Oooh I heard the Autopilot Disconnect sound at 33:52!
Autopilot disconnect just seems a lot louder on the newer 320s we have.
Rain be like... IM OUTTA HERE!
Not strictly true, autopilot doesn't lead to a reduced thrust [think about if you fly manually]
that was cool
I was wondering if it may have been the anti-ice coming on? Due to the dense cloud.
very nice video, man.
it must be quite difficult landing in madeira getting the angles right on approach, miss timing or miss calculation in angles and you miss the runway
Rachael Matt, how do you get to travel so much?! Im so jealous! Is it part of your job or do you just do it whenever you can?
you are right i am from there and it is very difficult to land
When was the "Cabin crew seats for takeoff please" Announcment, it's my fav one.
im going to ride an airplane from Imperial California to Massachusetts in 3 weeks!!
Lol, heard it 2, so no ils at madeira.. makes sense!
Oh sorry i was abit too excited from coming back from china, the plane was a LH 721
Going on easy jet tomorrow
wonderful !
Seems to be lots of unusual fluctuations in thrust during the climb?
I hate the sound of the engines changing gears during the climb. Maybe I suffer from vertigo, but it sounds like they are going to stall. Terrifying! I fly from Newcastle to Amsterdam this Friday Lol
nice video
Yes I know :) Good to explain it though for others.
Dat sound!
I didnt know easyjet board with jetways? i thought it was just stairs? i suppose at Bristol there isnt any jetways i dont think
33:50 - Autopilot Disconnect in the background XDD cockpit door was opened?
I went on EZY8937 once lol!
Nice
I always hate the bit at 10m32s. I always think the engines are conking out.
They do NOT get paid enough for what they do and the responsibility they have!
I hope to become an easyJet Pilot..
Diiiiiioooo cool!
So was more than idle reverse used here?
Cool
why is the clouds too low?!
Why the pilot is slowing down too much after takeoff and accelerates again ?
He didn't slow down too much, its auto throttle. ATC also impose speed restrictions until you're above certain altitudes and noise abatement purposes. Its a common thing. Every aircraft/airline will reduce power after take off. And increase again during latter parts of the climb where needed.
rachaelmatt Thanks
After take off they put the throttle into climb thrust which reduces the power to the right amount for climb, also speed restrictions - below 10,000 feet pilots are restricted to 250 knots
3000ft noise marker. I'm also guessing he was at full power or toga due to wet runway.
when you hear the engines spooling down it means they're leveling off due to altitude costraints of the departure procedures or for atc indication. When you hear engines spooling up again it means they have been cleared to continue climb. Gatwick has a lot of such restrictions. (not a real pilot, just an aviation enthusiast)
An Airbus A320 would not fly from Beijing to Frankfurt.

Alex Ran which comments are you replying to?
Is that EGKK or EGSS
great video, how did the engine sound change so quickly at 10:31
Because the plane is slowing down a bit as the pilot reduced thrust power :)
Are you allowed to use cameras for takeoff?
You are.If people weren't,these videos won't exist
what time was the flight?
was it the north terminal
Sure I heard the autopilot beep just befor landing
41.20 the race begins to get of first
Welcome to low-cost airlines :D
cool
Sorry i meant 4A is good too.
3:47 you can here the auto-pilot disengage
i seems like, the plane is stalling becoz of the sounds after takeoff
What is that BA 737 Doing on the grass at 10:14?
That was a BA 777 and it was on the taxiway, it had just arrived before we departed
Oh okay
