I was in Venezuela in '94 and '95 in the sister cities, Barcelona and Puerta La Cruz. In the hotel I stayed they served a cold seafood salad called Salpicon de Mariscos. It was my favorite next to the swordfish steaks they served. I ate it almost every day. Is that dish local to those cities or can you get it at other coastal towns? I enjoy your content so much. I fell in love with Venezuela and Colonia Tovar but have not been able to go back yet. Keep up the great vlogging!!!

I was in Caracas for a year, in the early/mid 90’s. The American fast food places that were there at the time did not taste the same as back in the USA. I also found that most of the food in restaurants was bland. They didn’t have salt and pepper on the tables, and half the time if you asked for it, they didn’t have any. I’ve enjoyed your videos, as they have reminded me of my time there.
no biscuits here in NZ, but we have potato and gravy, only it is really expensive here in NZ and they have downsized the chickens. the chicken pieces are small.
