I don't know if I'm more impressed by how close the races were, or the fact that a 94,000lb brick was able to not only hang with, but start pulling on the Lambo on the top end where it's building like aerodynamics should be hurting it the most. That's just a big f you to physics right there 😅

Crazy times we are living in where an OFFROAD pickup off the showroom floor with mods (yes, vs. a ground up race-built pickup) can keep up with a Lambo, and BOTH can be blown away by an electric sedan with seating for 5!
Electric suck, daily charging stations a ev sucks if you have to stand around for an extra 1hr a day charging
@@krisi.2011 I felt the same, but Tesla has made their cars very useful with their battery tech. as well as range. 9.3 second quarters from a production car made on an assembly line is incredible.

That TRX has a frightening amount of power. What a perfect "baddie" vehicle for a movie; super fast, big, and intimidating.
That's the last thing I would want to see in my rear view mirror, and even in a Lambo you can't escape from it. Unsettling.
That was why Brooks was staying just a bit ahead of the truck. Not as menacing in the side mirror...

They kinda did, even gave it a manual transmission. It was the RT10 and very few people bought it.
@@aussie2uGA The srt10 was a 2wd sport truck with a 500hp viper v10 with an available 6 speed manual. They also manufactured them in a quad cab configuration. I wouldn't necessarily compare an srt10 to a trx. They were built for completely different purposes.

Yes. If you put money into a vehicle to go fast in a straight line it pays off well. Modded Hurracans can do the quarter in 7.326 seconds...... that would leave the trx halfway down the track when it finished.
