The peace of mind that 5000mah gives you is just priceless. So batteries wear out over time but I have been using g7 power since a couple of years and it's battery still comes for 2 days! @@markgeorge2200 I wish they rolled out updates better. It's a Google One device. Which means it runs almost stock Android. I am still on Android 9 while 11 is almost out. • @CommodoreFan64
      @CommodoreFan64 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@Anxyte I have to disagree, i've been using Moto G phones since the G2, and my family has been using the E series, and while some of them in the E series have not gotten major Android updates, they have gotten security updates, which is more than I can say for LG phones in the same price range they got with Cricket Wireless that never get anything, except a bloated UI, and preloaded software you can uninstall without rooting the phone, which most will never know how to do. My G7 has gotten all the current security updates, and Android 10, and about 2 weeks ago my mother, and elder aunt's Moto E Supra on Cricket Wireless both got a series of OTA security updates, and the Lenovo forums when you need help have been really good as well, as it's not some faceless customer service rep handling it, it's actual Moto engineers, and they CARE about the product.
Yes I know I might sound like a Moto/Lenovo shill here, but trust me if there was something better software experience, hardware specs, and customer service NEW under $200 USD I'd buy it, but there is not, and no the Google Pixel does not count as it's not a better overall phone.

Something I'd really like to hear more about in most reviews is the day-to-day experience, how well all the parts/specs come together. I say this missing the minimalism of yesteryear's Razr V3 flip phone, or Nokia 3310, because while 'much' lower in specs than any modern smartphone, they just worked without glitch/lag/UI bloat/irregularity.

Ive had the Stylus for about 3 months now. Before it, I came from a Galaxy S8 and then Huawei Honor. This phone is amazing. No bloatware(which is why i feel Samsung needs all that memory in every aspect). Im an artist and use this phone as my drawing pad. It works great. You do need to know that if you get a tempered glass screen protector put it on correctly, It will affect the accuracy of the Stylus. Its not a smart stylus but it is a nice metal mesh one. Besides that, plays music amazingly. The Camera takes great pictures. Call of duty Mobile runs on medium settings and smooth. screen is clear and bright. A lot of cases to choose from. My GF has a note 20, its better. but not $600 better. This phone is a great buy. Plus the new gestures are cool, Shake the phone for flashlight, twist it for camera. It makes life a lot easier. People tend to compare these phones to flagship and give them bad reps. Of course theyre not going to compare, they are $700 more.

Mate, let's be honest; people are buying into a hype of crap they don't need and most of them can't afford to start with... I had a revelation two days back as I came-up with the idea of hard-mounting a cheap phone to my motorcycle, instead of having a dedicated crappy GPS system there. I always thought that I needed the latest and the best and don't ask how many phones we purchased in our household; it's CRAZY!!! $1k every 14-18 month times three, while the "old" phones stop having ANY residual value. I did a bit of homework on inexpensive phones and this is how I found your video... I got the Moto G7 two days ago and I LOVED it, HOWEVER, I found out a day later that there is a better MOTO for only fifty bucks on top of what I had paid, the Moto G Power... I returned the G7 and got the G Power (or Moto 8 Power, how it's called on the rest of the planet). It's simply stunning to me that I paid $249 instead of $1k and it does the very same, but it's cuter with those gestures. For someone like me, who never ever watched a movie on a phone, or played a video game, all phones are the same, starting today. I was left believing that anything beyond "flagship" is crap and this was also the reason I never ever looked into what's out there... So here I am telling Goodby to all future iterations of the Samsung Note phones! I decrappled my home about six years ago and what a moment of joy that was...

No mention of the dual speakers? Every review I've watched won't really give us a lot of details about the speakers. I wish I could get the camera that's on the G Power with that big battery and 128gb internal storage. That would be the perfect phone.

Both phones are great. I'd say buy the power if you want to save $50, but the stylist is marginally better. They're both very similar, the only major difference being the tiny internal flash memory in the power, and the camera is substantially worse than the stylus. The Android OS is bloated these days updating Android on the power corrupted the partitions of my sd card and non system folders updating, but assuming that doesn't happen to you the power is a damn fine phone.

  • @alricaneshama

I have never owned a moto phone. I owned a very early Samsung flip phone (back in like 1998-99.
From there? It was ZTE's then LG, specifically the Stylo's.
I enjoy the stylus because at times what I'm tapping isn't catching it.
The stylus isn't required but nice.
    For me?
It's about the processer and internal memory.
Performance is #1 as is the internal memory.
The stylo 5 is not it because it has the same 32g the stylo 4 has.
I want no less than 64g. A 128g would be better.
    Next is battery life.
So...I am shopping around before they came out, so this way I know exactly what I want.
I like the battery of moto g power but the memory of moto g stylus.
Unsure of the processer, that's my main deciding factor between these two.
