Beautiful home. Thanks for the comparisons. I’m awaiting the arrival of our Yoto Mini starter kit for my 3YO’s bday. I’m hopeful that he enjoys the player as he ages, since I really like how many good books they offer.
Getting my 7 year old the mini but undecided for my toddler who will be 2 1/2. If I should get her the big one or the mini. Or maybe get both as wondering if she will be able to work the mini on her own. Wanting it for home to help her be independent while I do jobs around the house but will also use out and about in car ect. Which did your youngest like at that age ? Thanks x
I like the big for that age! I posted a newer video comparing these two and the toniebox and talk more about recommended ages! But I do love the big one for when my youngest (3YO) is quietly playing in her room. It seems to stay on longer before she pulls a card out compared to the mini
Hey! Would you mind sharing a picture or link of the felt board you have for your kiddos with the very hungry caterpillar? Sounds like something I’m very interested in!
Thanks for this! I think the size is a big factor for us as we do a lot of travelling - and the fact that the small one has longer battery life while using the same charging cable as our phones/ computer it’s a no brainer that the mini is the one for us! And if we grow a cards collection we might always add the bigger one for stationary use at home :) ❤
@@PiningOverHome I think the full size yoto makes a lot of sense for cards that have educational components with showing letters and numbers etc. - But I don’t think this is what we will be using our yoto for, at least not for a while! (Our kid is only 16 months old)
I have a link in the description with a discount code! I buy through the yoto site because it’s tracks my order and just makes it all easy. Tooootally worth the money to me. Like I said we’ve had our 5-6 years and it’s still working great and played with daily! Cards vary I’d say $3-$10 depending on if it’s in a pack, if it’s a branded card (Disney) etc
Hmm I can’t remember, it was a while ago 🙈😂 it could’ve been in an update video! I can do a video on our card collection and favorites though, if there’s interest!
Just ordered a mini with your code. Thanks for the information! This helped me decide which to get.
@@agentcallisto thank you!! And I’m so glad I could help ❤️❤️

I’m glad it was helpful! I’ve found over the last year or so we hardly ever reach for the full sized Yoto. So I think the mini is a good choice!

Have you tried the Flags of the World card? I'm trying to see if it works well with the mini and while searching I found your video.
I haven’t! I bet it would be good to go alongside a geography curriculum :)
Hi, my kids share a room and have bunk beds..if they are both in bed, will they be able to hear it? Thanks 😊
Definitely!! They both can get loud enough to fill a bedroom ☺️
Thank you 🎉 @@PiningOverHome
Thanks so much for this, great review! Hey I’m trying to use your referral code but am not seeing the discount. Any ideas?
They just deleted my code because too many people used it I guess? Working on it! So sorry!!
Not a bad problem to have I suppose!@@PiningOverHome
True! Except they deleted all of the points I had saved 🙈😂 oh wellll
Oh no!! Hope they get you back! @@PiningOverHome
Thanks!!!
Where’s the best place to buy these? Do you think it’s worth the money? And how much do the cards run?
