As per Appendix ix the AMA should prescribed medicines for only 10 days which is reimbursable. if he is prescribing medicines for more than ten days view of the DHS can be otained. What if the medicine is prescribed by a Doctor of a Private Recognised Hospital for more than than ten days. Will it be reimburseable?

I am confuse as to why we need to go govt medical officer first ?? because i never did this, i directly go to pvt hospital for opd and other cases, whenever i needed. What is the difference between cgehs card facilty and medical atttendent rules ??
Sir, My Father was admitted in private empanelled hospital on advice of AMA in emergency, he is suffering from chronic liver disease, he is discharged now and next time hospital has adviced to visit after 4 weeks, Is govt employee allowed to continue treatment in OPD in private empanelled hospital under CSMA rules ?

Yes you can not consult AMA in his clinic and purchase medicine from him.It can not be reimbursed according to CS(MA)Rules

My father's treatment is going on from pgi. He is chronic patient of COPD. Doctor Prescribed medicines for 6 months and explained on card that medicines prescribe for 6 month due to covid pandemic. But medical claim returned rejection in which said that doctor cannot prescribe for 6 month because in rule it is for 3 months.

AMA is the medical officer of your area.Generally in PHC,who is the incharge is the AMA.In case of OPD,who is checking your health is the AMA

You know that the specialist having separate rooms for consult.OPD is out patient Department.In OPD number of doctors are there for emergency
