American idol’s ratings back in the day were crazy. Like legit we won’t see another show or series that are as watched as American idol back in its prime.

Plus, music in general is more accessible than ever since we have TH-cam and Spotify where we can hear more artists and watch an audition or a performance without really watching the show is one reason as well. After Phillip and Jessica’s season, I don’t think I watched an episode in its entirety. Just the videos posted on the TH-cam.

I Love her personality, like Simon said, she is 100 % the same person off and on camera. And that's i think is a very rare. She's just magnet the moment she opened up her mouth, and i think she'll have a wonderful looong career, she is just one of a kind.

It goes to show that even if Simon didn't see something in these acts the first time doesn't mean that he won't warm up to them throughout the show to the point that he'll start to believe in that act and want them to go far in the business

Nobody beats the original judges of the show. They're legends. Paula is such an incredible choreographer dancer. Randy and Simon have developed many different talents. These American Idol judges new the game and were right almost everytime about choosing the right talent. People think Simon's cold but he has such a keen eye. His cut and dry nature ensures success.
My Favorite Part: Simon says he wants the 3 of them to do a show again, Randy goes to fist bump Simon (who never sees it @ 4:03), and Paula gently clasps Randy's floating fist and pulls it slowly back as if to say, "No, sweetie. It's not going to happen, but it was a sweet gesture." I giggled so hard. They're such a cute little family, and I hope Simon really does bring a show back w/the three of them on it.
I’ve always loved how much Simon has supported Kelly. He knows he owes a lot of his success to her being such a success and giving the show credibility.

There will never be a trio like Simon, Paula and Randy. Their chemistry was undeniable, raw and authentic. They found a gem the first season. If Kelly did not win American Idol and become as successful as she did, I don't think any of these talent shows would be around today.

She is a unique, one of a kind entertainer, song writer, and performer. Paula knew it right from the start. Legendary talent from her too. Love this show, and the honest approach that Kelly uses. I love that simon has chilled and gotten healthier, but I miss my favorite terror-judge too. It was highly entertaining seeing the fear on the faces of the worst acts (besides the little kids who are still experienciong PTSD into adulthood) Becoming a dad mustve softened him up. ♥
There has to be gratefulness for Simon... so many were discovered because of him including Kelly. Things are not perfect in any profession. But getting discovered and having a successful career started somewhere. And for Kelly it was American Idol.
