This literally made me cry. Now I know I’m not crazy. My daughter has always teased me that I love ❤️ Kelly Clarkson more than her! Such a deserved long term career. She turned out to be even more talented than I ever could have realized when I fell in love with that cute little fellow Texan with the quirky personality and most amazing voice I ever heard. One of my favorite Idol performances of hers was the Big Band night. I was sad when they did away with that because it gave younger generations a chance to hear some historical music.
"Stuff Like That There" -- what an amazing performance of that song! Many insiders say that that night's performance is what clinched her the win, even though there were still several weeks to go.
Kelly really means so much to so many and it's because everyone can clearly see her soul is so pure. Thanks Kelly for being you.

It speaks volumes of Clarkson’s person to be so well spoken of by Simon Cowell. After Clarkson spoke about her previous record company and the iron clad Idol contract, I feared feathers were ruffled. She was always fair, appreciative of the hits, and honest but one never knows. Great to know she still interacts positively with the judges. She has respect and appreciation to the them and them she.

I ❤️ Kelly! The first time you walked on stage for the first audition, I was blown away. Your personality and voice made me fall in love with you. When you sat at the judges table, I knew you would win it all. I was almost 41, white male, married and had 1yr old son with a love crush on a girl on TV that lives 100 miles south from my home. Every time I go to DFW area, I always hoped to see you. Isn't that crazy with all the people there to hope to see you but stranger things happen. Love your show as well. I imagine Kelly didn't really direct this, or put it together - she probably had influence like 'keep it short' - she is so humble. But this was a great montage, and she really deserves all the respect she receives. She has touched a lot of lives, including mine actually.
I seen a lot of this clips and most of them do not include the celebs "fan girling" over Kelly in the main show. I like that the editor collected all of these and put it in 1 clip... It would be annoying to see people STAN her all the time on the main show. So good editing to whoever edits! This is a compilation, and has its place among the other clips.

But yeah, she does not seem to be exploiting her fan base per se. Also, if you have not noticed... she will put a video out there, on her youtube channel, and it takes 'ages' for it to become 'popular'. There's never a lot of comments, but of course she does get the views eventually. But thanks, that's a perspective I definitely respect.

Hearing someone like Simon Cowell worship and love Kelly Clarkson is definitely something to behold. It isn't easy getting someone like Simon Cowell to feel the way he does about Kelly Clarkson... that is amazing. Being herself and not changing because of her fame is incredible... amazing. She is someone to hold onto, someone who inspires so many others and not even realizing how amazing she is... brings tears to my eyes. Love her so much. Can't get enough of her!!!!

The original judges are right about her solidifying AI as a show/competition. Kelly did as much for that fledgling show as it did for her. Neither would be what they wound up becoming without the other.

my friends and i used to travel all over texas to see your concerts. from austin to dallas to houston to san antonio, through horrible weather, through disagreements -- back when we used to have to print directions from mapquest -- we didn't ever want to miss a show. we were the ones that would throw university of texas hats and jerseys on your stage and you'd always put them on right away!! great times!

Thank you Kelly Clarkson! My daughter and I watched American Idol together - she was 1. She named her first baby doll Kelly. We first saw you in concert when she was four .We still do sing offs to see who gets the words right to your first album. Thanks so much for all the joy you give. She started singing into hairbrush, whisk and yes the vacuum handle . I’m going to send you that on video one day- it’s priceless. I could write a book about all our Kelly moments .
