  • We live in an age where drones are everywhere. In this episode, host Dev Goswami and defence expert Shiv Aroor delve into the world of UAVs or UAS, commonly known as drones. These unmanned air systems have played pivotal roles in global events, from the U.S. war on terror to conflicts in Ukraine, Israel-Hamas, and Azerbaijan-Armenia. Despite their ubiquitous presence, popular culture and mainstream defense writing lag in portraying the significance of these non-human aircraft. Why?
While India boasts a list of domestically manufactured drones, none are currently in service. The discussion delves into the reasons behind India's delayed adoption and the increasing involvement of private companies in the drone ecosystem.
The duo also contemplates the potential takeover of drones by AI, about the elimination of the human loop and the future of drone warfare. What game-changing effects drones can have in military operations? What are the challenges faced by the military in drone usage, including concerns about proliferation and security threats from terrorists and non-state actors. The ultimate question remains: Is drone warfare here to stay, and how will it shape the landscape of future conflicts?

Another piece of media worth taking a look at, that looks at the implications of drones is Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
Without much spoilers, it follows a country with fighters fighting against a country using mostly drones. The pilots win.

I can’t tell you how grateful Armenians are to India for helping us after the Karabagh war by sending weapons to Armenia when we were left defenseless with no other country selling us weapons. Its not surprising as our two peoples have a long history together with Indian communities in Armenia since ancient times and likewise Armenian communities in India which were the only foreigners trusted to freely travel anywhere in India free of taxes so this relationship is only natural and nothing new. In our more vulnerable and desperate time India of all countries stood by our side we will forever be grateful 🇮🇳 🇦🇲

40:08 just like SU30MKI freshly baked from HAL factories is 27% more is this adani drone is also like that.. ?? since salaries are less here in India isn't by that logic even assembling product would lead to lower the cost if we would have imported directly from Israel ?

U saying Pakistan bragging and India drones destroying Pakistan millions pounds defense system ' But pak army might be able to get drones technology and be much bigger advantage becaz can be used against the mighty Indian navy and the much larger strong army so let's hope Pakistan 🇵🇰 doesn't somehow manage to find plenty of drones 😂😂😂😂😂
