Re the horse and cart owned by W & J Wass Transport of Goddard street Longton. I worked there as an apprentice mechanic in 1966 / 67, a real introduction to adult life !!
I didn't even know he was named Jervis, it was just Dougey and it was all Dougey's farm Magic mushroom haven in the 70s. many teenagers would pick them from that field.

Excellent. Some of this must be late 50's or very early 60's. I was there in 1965/ 6/ 7 and there's was no smoke at all then.
