But now watching Charlie at such a young age accomplishing what he has, makes me believe lightning can strike twice in this game. I know I won’t live long enough to see his career fully play out, but I’ll be around long enough to witness something historical.

I got him winning 2 majors by 22 years of age. When this kid hits 17 he's gonna be a monster. I would put money on him winning more majors than anyone. Tiger was awesome to watch. Can't wait to see Charlie in the PGA
That would be awesome to watch. The only question I have on Charlie is: Is he as hungry as his father was? Does he really want what his father achieved? Well see.

I'm 61 now but I'll always remember exactly where I was on my lunch break on the Wednesday before the start of the 1997 Masters. I was Westbound in my car stopped at a red-light at the intersection of Coliseum and Coldwater roads. I had a sports radio station playing and on comes this guy with the most condescending "let me school all you ignorant morons out there" voice he could muster telling us there is NO WAY Tiger Woods is going to win the Masters. He had a long litany of expert, learned reasons and arguments that he was happy to lower himself by educating the unwashed masses like me in the listening audience. I remember that guy really pissing me off. Fast forward one day to Thursday and I was hoping Tiger would make guys like that arrogant radio commenter eat a heaping pile of crow. After the 40 on the front nine my hopes were at a low point. Then came the back nine 30 and Tiger's history making recording breaking low score for the Masters Tournament! I have no idea who that arrogant SOB radio commenter was, but I'll be thinking of him and all the guys like him as Charlie starts his career.
At this very young age, If he can get atleast 98 % his dad’s passions and dedications to the golf sport then there is no doubt that he will become one of the greatest player to ever play the golf.

While you have to like his chances, there's one thing to consider. Certainly not taking anything away from Tiger, my favorite golfer. In his early days he did compete against a lot of "beer bellies" lol! But that has all changed now since Tiger brought so much attention to the tour and the prize money went WAY up because of Tiger. Now all these young guys have at least a little bit of Tiger in them and they are much harder to beat than back in the "olden days of the beer belly". But Charlie? Again, you have to like his chances. Driving a ball 355 at 15? You cannot be serious lol!
I think it is wonderful to see Tiger and his son enjoying time together and bond on the golf course. The pressure being put on Charlie is quite a burden especially that there are no so many other extremely talented young athletes that Charlie would have to go up against.
@@AnthonyMcCulley That's Eldrick's job to push him as he sees fit. The nobodies who showed up at that tournament and made a spectacle of themselves were way out of line.

I just hope he enjoys golf as much if not more than his Father! The pressure to be as great as is probably more than just becoming a touring pro! Continued Blessings for Charlie!
It all depends on when Tiger turns him pro. I'd leave him alone until he's at least 17. That doesn't mean he can't play a tournament against pros, here or there, just to test the waters The real problem is he's walking into a world of high expectations. The whole world will expect greatness from him. He's had a lot handed to him. Pressure to be the best will also be on his golden plate
Started golfing 3 years ago - I also started with blades, I literally found an entire bag and set of clubs in someone's trash on the side of the road, The irons were all super thin blades. Doesn't take long to get used to them and forces you to be more accurate... Why would you not want to learn with a tool that forces you to be more accurate? Whilst only ensuring you can hit with any other style iron. I'm a +12 Avg. in 3 years of play in Michigan so really only a year and a half of seasonal casual golf. Golf season just started here and I'm still using blades I just like how they feel.
I agree with Tiger's philosophies on training, Charlie. Good players play blades, not those ridiculous power bats. Don't push him too hard. He doesn't need injuries at such a young age.
Charlie Woods played in a PGA Tour pre-qualifier for the Cognizant Classic at age 15 in Feb 2024, shot 86 and did not advance. Credit for the attempt but he has a ways to go.
Charlie will never be as good as his father, who even makes a statement like that, ridiculous! Tiger may be the best of all time! If his son even makes on tour would be a phenomenal achievement. I feel sorry for the pressure he will be under, every step of his journey.
Nice to see young adults achieving success. All successful people needs a strong mental game. Children wants to be like the parents… Tiger is giving his son a chance to be a great golfer.. It’s important Tiger set good examples of how to behave…and be around people..
Hopefully young Charlie learns from dad's mistakes as well. Maintain decorum, Charles, and the world will beat a path to your door. You have a rare and privileged start.
Possibility is high. But he is tigers don the pressure and the spot light is high too. He is only 15 yrs old and thst can be a lot. Tiger was a ‘no body’ so he had no pressure. But it’s obvious the talent is there and his dads experience, knowledge and support is invaluable.
If this kid is anything like his father, the sport will have some real excitement. Tiger will end up on the PGA Tour Champions and continue to play majors. His swing looks amazing and has the same confidence.
There is no doubt he will carry on the Legacy and have success of his own. He's only 14. His future is bright considering he has the best coach on the planet
I'm certainly no golf expert and have never been any great shakes with clubs in my hands, but I've watched golf since the mid 80's. One thing I know for sure is that nobody had ever seen anything like Tiger Woods when he burst onto the scene with that 12 stroke victory at the '97 Masters. At that time, guys like Craig Stadler were playing competitively while being that out of shape. It was a different game then. When Tiger came along, it took 10 years for the sport to catch up to him again. He changed the game that much. No doubt, Charlie has the makings of a top tier golfer, but I think the days of any golfer winning 10 plus majors are gone forever. It's just too competitive now. Charlie is entering a golf landscape that is much, much harder to be a dominant force in than when his dad came up. With all that being said, I still wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll be tuning in like everyone else.
Tiger Woods is phenomenal. Now, Charlie Woods is phenomenal for his age and gets even better every day. Tiger has a great rapport with Charlie and has taught him well. Even giving advice to watch another player's swing. Charlie's future looks very bright!😮
If tiger would have had lebrons and Brady’s team doctors, he would have lasted a lot longer. And if tiger could have brought a team together to fix his swing so it wasn’t so hard on his back and legs, he would still being playing minus the car accident injuries
Professional golf becomes more competitive every year. That being said, I would imagine having every advantage in the sport at a young age will propel him to the tour.
I just hope he doesn’t get burned out or overwhelmed by the pressure and the inevitable comparisons when he goes pro and I can tell you right now if he wants to he absolutely will be on tour someday he’s got resources and knowledge available to him most people could only dream of he’s a lot more sophisticated a player at that age than most people the way he plays even when a whole bunch of people are watching from a very early age I think it’s only a matter of time before we see him out there without pops
This wil be good. I remember back in the day there was nothing better than sitting on the couch on a Major Sunday and watch Tiger at work. Hoping to witness and enjoy this again with Charlie
I'm sure Charlie wants to make his father proud, but I hope he's doing kid stuff first. I don't think Tiger ever had a chance to be a kid. With nothing but practicing and all the pressure to do well, I can't imagine what it must have been like for Tiger. Be a kid first. Just my take. Best of luck to Charlie.
All i can think of is Michelle Wie, when it comes to putting so much expectation on a young golfers. In almost every professional sport, not many kids are competing with men , so dont rush these youngins, i dont care who they are
We knew Charlie would play he will pave his own career for sure however his dad is the goat and always will be; let's see Charlie come from the trees, from the rough to make birdie or par then I will say yes
It would be great for him to carry on the legacy of Tiger his famous dad, put I do hope he grows to arrive at what he will be with the best of results but not to any disappointments at him not being as big as his father was. Those are some mighty big shoes to fill, for anyone.
I hope that his Dad will also coach him in his personal behavior, and caution him to use good common sense, and to be a good person. This will give more than golf excellence. 👍
Now that apple didn't fall far from the tree. Yes he will be good, BUT it is not feasible that someone will come along and beat tigers record yet- it's too soon.
He is ranked nos 1442 in AJGA rankings ,anything is possible but golfers have as much chance of getting hit by a meteorite as they have of making the PGA Tour ,Tiger won the US Junior Amateur at 15 the youngest ever at that time etc etc ,he is getting a lot of exposure but at 15 he should be way up in the rankings ,I would bet he will end up being a nice recreational golfer the grind of being a club pro would not appeal to him.
There will never be another Tiger Woods. He is the greatest golfer of all time. Even with the advantage of being Tigers son the game is so difficult it’s unrealistic to expect greatness. He needs to stay in the classroom. We don’t need golfers we need doctors and scientists! He could be the greatest doctor of time. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!
No one knows yet if this kid has his dad’s chops, but it’d sure be entertaining as hell if he did. I’m from Oklahoma and early in Tiger’s career I knew several people that didn’t like him because he was black. Undoubtedly racist, but that was the case. Before to long however even the bigoted ones were tipping their hats. Charlie won’t have to overcome the that, his dad already did. So he will be free to build a large throng of fans quicker than even Tiger. I can feel that energy around him, the people can’t wait for this kid to arrive. If he has “it” it’ll be a lot of fun to watch.
Just imagine. Charlie has Tiger as his personal coach and virtually unlimited resources at his disposal through his father. Additionally, he got exceptional genes from his dad and his 5'11" mother. With the right kind of conditioning, I think he possibly could be bigger and stronger than his dad. Tiger was a phenom without those things. The sky is the limit for this young man.
Charlie does have all the pressures of being his son and his expectations he realizes he has to be twice as good and still will take criticism. He has been dealing with those pressures and how to deal with it.
The kid has big shoes, which he mostly won’t fill. If he chooses to go pro, he’ll have to go all in like his dad. That 86, well that happens to all golfers, and at 15, I can’t even imagine the pressure. Btw, hitting it 300 yards at his age is awesome…but it’s not what gets it in the hole.
Don't know if Charlie Woods will be able to travel in the same footsteps as his father. He's only 14, enjoy his youth, what is the rush. The other day he tried to qualify for a PGA TOURNAMENT, that didn't turn out well. There's no guarantee he'll have the same success as his father. Just play the game, enjoy it as much as possible, he should try to do his best everytime out. He is probably under tremendous pressure; people will try and compare him to Tiger, big mistake. I hope he goes to college first, stay 2-3 years and then play one of the smaller tours; slow walk this thing.
He still not 5'11 there is no way base on his last PNC Championship photos while playing with Tiger on December 2023 about 3 months ago @@buffalosoldier19d42

Tiger was winning U.S.G.A. Championships at Charlie’s age. His trajectory is not the same.
I'm placing a bet in Vegas tomorrow!!! Yes he will win a Major by 21!!
No
I can't wait for the next decade to pass ...god bless you tiger
Where yf have I been? I had no fckn idea Charlie was out there killing the game. Wow. Much respect
Under a rock. 😂
hes not. hes 5th best golfer on his high school team
Charlie for masters
Just imagine. Charlie has Tiger as his personal coach and virtually unlimited resources at his disposal through his father. Additionally, he got exceptional genes from his dad and his 5'11" mother. With the right kind of conditioning, I think he possibly could be bigger and stronger than his dad. Tiger was a phenom without those things. The sky is the limit for this young man.
Could you imagine what Jack and Arnold could have done with this technology??!!!!!
Well unfortunately that’s irrelevant we’ve got to live in reality so imagining that is pointless. We can’t know what that would’ve been like.
Charlie does have all the pressures of being his son and his expectations he realizes he has to be twice as good and still will take criticism. He has been dealing with those pressures and how to deal with it.
Tiger is giving the kid better training than Earl gave Tiger. Remember Earl had no major championships when he was training Tiger.
ADORABLE
I enjoy watching this young man, so young and so awesome at a age of 15 years. Bring it on Mr. Charlie Woods.
He has everything going for him.
Charlie Woods
그의 앞날을 항상 응원합니다.
또다른 신의 탄생을 ...
I think his son will be God again
Poor Charlie is going to have a tough life trying to live up to his father and everyone else’s expectations.
WOW what a golfer. Saw this link while watching a Mentally Golf video on You Tube. He is awesome.
Way too early to compare Charlie with Tiger. Let the kid develop and find his own path without all the pressure.
5 feet 11 ? no way
That what I though, Tiger is 6.1 Charlie is a head shorter when standing next to him. 5.11..Not.
Referring to how tall he is today. The images in the video are from at least a year ago, with most being two to three years ago.
He still not 5'11 there is no way base on his last PNC Championship photos while playing with Tiger on December 2023 about 3 months ago @@buffalosoldier19d42
He’s not going to be tall maybe 5.6 or 5.7 Tiger was 5.10 when he was 14?
Charlie will be at least as tall as his dad.. so I estimate by 21-22 he'll be 6-1 or 6-2.
Amazing that Lydia Ko had won her first pro tournament at the same age Charlie is now?….her record is actually better than tiger regarding winning at an early age
