  • What could golf possibly have in common with professional basketball? As Tiger Woods and former Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade conclude in this episode, there’s a lot. The 13-time NBA All-Star and Olympic Gold medalist has doubled down on golf since turning to broadcasting after a celebrated 16-year career at the top of the game, and he relishes the chance to pick the brain of the Greatest Of All Time.

Man I'd give anything to have this opportunity with Tiger!! I'm 40 and have been watching him since the beginning. He's the ONLY reason I ever picked up a club. Football, basketball or the streets were the only options where I grew up for kids. This man literally bought all cultures to golf.... Thanks Tiger Woods 🙏🏼

Boy said he wasn't done then came out with 1 leg at the 2022 masters shot a 71 R1 & made all 3 cuts. Not Bryson. Brooks. Jordan. Reed. The 46 yr old 1 legged man. He is incredible. He's gonna get another major. I hope he gets 4. 🙏 #GOAT
Edit: the moment at 4:11 when he smirks and says "this my dad taught me." They don't make love like that. Earl was that guy.

This is inspiring. Wade was very humble and to see a pro athlete at the top of the game, ask so many questions that beginners want to ask, absorb the answers and execute the shot is brilliant.
Golf is hard and I've always said I will get lessons eventually but assume I can learn it all for free on TH-cam. I have booked my first 3 lessons for tomorrow. I've played golf since I was 19 (now 33) as a casual, frustrated player. Hope the lessons help.

So I just watched this video. The little thing I picked up on was when wade was going for the putt, and Tiger's ball was closer than his. Tiger in a joking way says "I win." It may seem like something small, but you can see that competitive beast within him, even in such a laid-back round of golf. truly amazing. He and MJ are truly the most competitive athletes in the world in every sense of the word.

  • @TippiGordon

This is fantastic. I'm a big fan of both guys. It's fascinating to watch Tiger's almost relentlessly positive optimism along with D-Wade's natural athleticism and eminent coachability. Between the two, they craft a golf game like it was magic.

Love this. One thing all amateur golfers have in common is the lack of holding their follow through. Almost all let the club fall down in a reverse swing, as if the club weighs a ton, which lacks intention. I think teaching them to hold their pose for a few seconds no matter the outcome will build more confidence...then when you hit the good shots, it's club twirling time! And Tiger is without a doubt the GOAT, mainly because he brought so many more eyeballs to the game.

Yeah so would I....but I also heard DWade talk abt not being able to go down stairs. Athletes suffer in their bodies bc they take their bodies through strenuous training and often play with pain. Tiger fan since '96 wish ppl would stop acting like injuries don't come with the sport (not car accident).
