Not sure about the steering wheel esp if it gets greasy from your hands. Touching reference re your Dad, I am sure he would approve/understand. Did something similar myself-placed my Dad's Air Force Command pilot wings in the glovebox of my 69 Lotus Elan so he could once again be in an Elan(having owned a 71 Elan coupe that I grew up with) and be with me on every ride. I just finished my break in at 1200 mile road trip. Car is amazing. So much feel, adept handling, engine has surprising personality, particularly at the top end. I use a smaller thermos or water bottle in the side door panel. I only use the cup holders for small items. Also, I had the dealer put in a Lithium battery. Improves weight and performance distribution a little. Fyi I use 2 Lotus bags for right behind the seats. Works well!

This is my daily driver. Already driven it to play Beach Volleyball Doubles twice this week. Still sorting out how to keep it clean... Especially with the Sand 👀😎
Here is STIG from Tokyo who finally have received word (and a VIN number) that my i4 AMG will arrive around that 3 year mark as well. I truly enjoyed your “run in” video, and I also feel it is touching that you carry along an urn with a portion of your father’s ashes on your drives. I own Dalby car detailing on FB in Australia...I have been looking for a show car to buy...after watching this..I think a Lotus might be on the way...
