The Space Needle and Pike Place Market get most of the love (from tourists at least). I have lived in Seattle and have never been up the Space Needle. My friends, who were born in Seattle, have never been up the Space Needle. That should tell you something. Take a walk along the Puget Sound if that's more your speed, or get out of the city and check out Mount Rainier, Olympic, or North Cascades national parks for the real beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Either way you slice it, Emerald City and beyond have everything and more.
Now let's get into the corporate yuppies that have taken over the world since the pandemic. Starbucks. Really? Who in the right mind starts their day with a 1000 calorie 8 dollar cup of sugar? Caffein is such a great drug and probably the closest thing we have to legal speed. Boeing. Boeing is great. I travel a lot, usually by plane, and always by a Boeing plane. Keep doing great things Boeing. Lastly tech. I emphasize lastly because they deserve last. The Tech Virus, as I call it, worked its magic in SF and it's doing the same in Seattle. Where's next? Denver beware
It's hard to get away from these corporate goliaths since integrating themselves into our everyday (American) lives. the nice thing is to travel and get away from the tech stench for a few weeks. It really clears the head.
4pm sun down?! 4pm?! PNW winter is wild and I am foolish to not remember this last year (was I here?). Afternoons are great, however. downtown with the wind. sirens, non-stop. It's an incredible city. And don't forget crab. Dungeoness crab (or however you spell it) is in season. Ivar's is on a roll.

Seattle is a beautiful, vibrant city. I'm amazed to see so much revitalization. It almost looks like a completely new city.

30 min. There's a couple ways to get there if there is traffic on the 5.
Seattle is really nice, they need to build more inner city trams
There’s a few @zergcerebrates. Mono Rail and Link Light. But yeah it’s an old system and not the most convenient. Everyone is flying around on scooters these days.
