    To me this song is an example of how machines can make someone feel so human, so in love and in harmony with the energy that flows through the world. How the artificial becomes natural. Art.

    This song feels like a hopeful, melancholic recollection of one's life's progress, humbling like watching the soft colours of a sunset and thinking about the vastness and complexities of everyone and everything around you. Although the existential march onward is blind and there will be future bad days, separated from everything bad about this world, there is the warmth of hope that the tomorrows of tomorrow will bring good news.

    between the drum programming, the pulsating bassline, the bittersweet yet beautiful melody this ranks as one of my favorite songs over the past 20 years on a emotional and technical level and its great to hear him still pushing the limits while keeping his jazz fusion roots. 'Beep Street' is literally the perfect title for this.
    It piques your interest, fits the genre having all these weird names, it's catchy, and the song itself sounds very urban and relaxed. It sounds like a simple lifestyle, just driving along the streets of your city, going about your day beneath a cloudy sky, and in the monotony of your life routine you ponder the mysteries of the world and reflect with yourself. You have a desire to learn and see what's out there beyond your city. For now you can't. You're still trapped paying bills, living in apartments, working your ass off in a job you don't really like.
    But someday, you'll be able to fly. You'll travel the world and see everything.

      I wish I heard it sooner. I didn't have schizophrenia, but depression. Of course that's not so awful state of mind, yet sometimes I witnessed hallucinations mixed with overall energy loss. I've even dropped out from university because I couldn't handle my psychological condition.
      Music always helped to human mind, and stylish one especially helps. And Tom Jenkinson definitely has a style.

      @charlieking7600 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@palkamusica well, I experienced hallucinations in very specific format: each time I was taking a sleep, I was stuck in intermediate condition, when I could feel anything but can't be conscious at all means. I remember witnessing screams and "watching" video in fast tempo. Or something like mother talking to me, while I lie in room I wasn't supposed to lie with feeling irrational fear. And, of course, these things weren't happening in reality, but only in head of mine.
      And I remember dreams that try to mimic reality, they all feel different to these hallucinations, because I didn't feel anything with my own body. I could do anything that is logically possible, but it wouldn't induce any physical sense. I am telling this to ensure there were not only dreams, but something different too.
      Anyway, I am fine now. The only thing that boggles my mind are my own unrealistic goals.

    His new material is astounding in its complexity and density, but somehow I prefer this to his new ultra-glitch hyper-fusion whatever you want to deem it. This material had more human connection, at least for me. Nobody could touch him back then, now the programs do EVERYTHING for you. Making this even more amazing when you consider how he was working.
