u don't need to do all of that , just buy the cheapest wheels , paint them , go to Exotic, buy stock , go out , exit the car and exit the online , next time you go in online ur wheels will be stock

I've only used this for painting stock rims. I'm not sure if it works for those specific purposed but you can try.

Well I'm not sure if the story mode method still works, but that's only for last gen/PC. It's really only 4-5 steps but if that's too many then you do you.
