I also have to say. One of the scariest things in a Pokémon movie for me wasn't just a character and their design..but a character going insane with their desires. This is where I say Zero from the Pokémon Movie "Giratina and the Sky Warrior" is hands down scary as a character antagonist. This guys main plan was to "make the Reverse/Distortion World beautiful again" because the Real World's problems were polluting the Reverse World. And he would do this by making a machine that would drain Giratinas powers (basically killing Giratina), put those drained powers in a mini ship and rule the Reverse World, tearing down the Real World from the inside out. And he made sure his plan wouldn't be foiled, as when his old partner Newton tried deleting all the blueprints a long time ago realizing their plan is bad, he made DOUBLES of the blueprints. And then there's one scene in the movie that shows this guy is insane... Around the "climax" part of the movie, we see Zero successfully drained Giratinas powers and moved them into his own mini ship. And as he goes into the Reverse World, he decides to start his destruction by breaking some ice pillars as he flew by. This caused a giant Glacier in the Real World to begin collapsing and moving. We learn that if the Glacier isn't stopped, it will head towards the town REALLY CLOSE BY and then the cities after that with nothing but destruction.
